Plasencia Reserva Original Piramide Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 22 October, 2025
This cigar was not purchased from C. Gars but rather purchased in a box of 10 from a location abroad. Pictures available if they are requested to authenticate this review. Please note, I will copy and paste this review on the box of 10 as well as the review is completely valid. The Plasencia Original Reserva was a cigar I’d been curious about for a while, especially since Plasencia has such a strong reputation for craftsmanship and sustainability. This blend is made entirely from organically grown Nicaraguan tobacco, and that purity really comes through in the flavor. On the cold draw, I picked up soft notes of cedar, hay, and a touch of natural sweetness. Once lit, the cigar offered smooth, creamy smoke carrying flavors of toasted nuts, wood, and gentle spice. What I liked most about the Original Reserva was its harmony—it never felt harsh or overpowering, yet it still had enough flavor to keep me engaged. It’s a refined cigar that rewards slow, mindful smoking and showcases Plasencia’s attention to detail. Overall, this cigar feels like a perfect introduction to the Plasen

Plasencia Alma Del Cielo Amanecer Hexagono Cigar - 1 Single

Bigger is not always better. The craftsmanship is impressive and it smoked fairly well, needing a couple touchups on one side. It was a smooth smoke throughout, starting with a very feint dark chocolate, quickly subsiding to a mild nuttyness. Towards the end there was some spice and pepper but overall I found the flavour uninspired and a little boring. Unfortunately underwhelming for this price point.

A lovely mild any time of the day smoke. Burnt well although ash was prone to falling. I like this with a good coffee in the morning and would recommend. Burn time is around an hour and have added them to my favourites

Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robusto I Cigar - 1 Single

Sampled this cigar on 02.10.25 at the Cgars Event in Norfolk. This was a wonderful cigar with lots of flavours, good construction and easy draw.. Lots of tasting notes especially when paired with a Balenie Carribean cask whisky. A nice light smooth whisky brings out the rich sweet toffee and caramel flavours and notes. Towards the end, one is met with a richer full bodied taste. Certainly one of the best I have tried from the Plasencia range. My only criticism was it didnt last long enough! (Ha Ha) A wonderful cigar experience at a good price. Definitely one to have in the humidor as a regular go to. 10/10. Thanks Billy and Josh for another great night. ;) Mike F - Norwich

Not as good as some of there other cigars. But still a very enjoyable cigar. Was a little bit disappointed, especially with the hype surrounding it. Lovely white smoke and easy draw. The amount of smoke which is a lot, may not be for everybody and definitely, probably best to smoke outside

A beautiful cigar throughout. While the flavour evolution wasn't as pronounced as I was hoping for, reviews I've read elsewhere online are spot on about the honey, wheaty and nutty taste, especially on the first third and even more so on the cold draw (it was like inhaling a particularly delicious cereal bar!). While these flavours largely subsided by the middle of the cigar, a pleasant sweetness dominated throughout. Very little (if any) spice or pepperiness. Incredibly smooth draw with just the right amount of resistance. It was quite clear that the construction was high quality and the cigar as a whole simply felt like a very well-made product. Great amount of smoke you felt like you could chew. The nicotine build-up at the end was gradual rather than hitting you all at once. This was a welcome surprise for someone who's new to cigars but wants to move up in strength without being completely overwhelmed (though I didn't smoke the entire nub so can't comment on if it continued like this).
