Mitchellero Novellini Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 17 November, 2025
Since I purchased these previously the the construction has definitely improved. Excellent smoke, burns very well and has almost a Cuban-like taste.I was impressed with my previous comparison of the whole range, which seems to have undergone a construction and taste improvement. Impressive !!

Mitchellero Torcedor Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 29 October, 2025
I had high hopes for the Mitchellero Torcedor, thinking it might become my new everyday smoke. I took it out of my cedar humidor about six hours before lighting up and it burned beautifully, lasted the perfect amount of time as advertised and started off really nicely. The first half was smooth, rich, and full of flavour, but by the second half it turned a bit too spicy and peppery for my personal taste. It’s still a very good cigar for the price, and I can see why people enjoy it. I’ve got another one resting in the humidor and plan to try it again soon to see if it was just this particular stick. For now, I’d call it a solid effort, but my favourite from the Mitchellero range is still the Robusto, that one’s tough to beat.

Mitchellero Sporty Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 22 October, 2025
Recently bought twelve of these as part of a flash sale humidor top-up. I generally prefer a robusto size but for the price these were good value for money. First cigar seemed a little harsh, but second cigar was very pleasant. Ideal as a smoke for pottering in the garden.

Mitchellero Novellini Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 22 October, 2025
The Mitchellero Novellini turned out to be a really enjoyable smoke. I left it out on my desk for about six hours before lighting up, and it performed beautifully. It produced loads of smoke, something I really like, and burned evenly throughout the whole cigar. Each third brought a slightly different flavour, which kept it interesting right to the end. I’ve noticed with the larger ring gauge cigars like this one, I can take more frequent draws without the end getting too hot or flaring up. Towards the finish it did start to warm a bit, so I grabbed my nub tool and managed to enjoy the last bit comfortably. For me, this cigar hit a lovely balance of flavour, smoke output, and overall experience, definitely one I’ll keep stocked in the humidor for when I’ve got the time to sit and savour it.

Mitchellero Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 21 October, 2025
The Mitchellero Corona was a bit of a journey for me. The first one I tried wasn’t great, the draw was tight and the smoke just didn’t hit the mark, especially compared to some of my favourites from this brand. I honestly gave it a 2/10 at that point. A little later I gave it another go, this time dry boxing for an hour and using a punch cut. That made a big difference, the draw opened up nicely, and I ended up enjoying the whole thing. The flavours came through better and it felt much smoother, bumping my rating up to an 8/10. By the third go, I’d left it out for about six hours and used a shallow V-cut instead, and again it performed really well. So, while my first impression wasn’t great, a bit of patience and prep really changed the experience. Now I’d happily call it a solid 8/10 smoke, not flawless, but when treated right, very enjoyable.

Mitchellero Peru Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 20 October, 2025
The Mitchellero Peru Toro turned out to be a really enjoyable cigar. It’s a nice, big stick that lasted me about an hour, and it felt like a proper sit-down smoke rather than a quick one. I’d definitely order it again for special occasions. The build quality was solid with an even burn and easy draw throughout, and the flavour was similar if not nicer than a lot of more expensive ones I've had in my time. For the price, it genuinely feels like a step above what you’d expect. The whole experience had that “proper cigar” feel without being too heavy or overbearing. It’s the sort of smoke that rewards taking your time with it, and one I’ll be keeping in my humidor for those moments when I want something a bit more special.
