What do I care if a cigar has a hint of this,a splash of that, or an aroma that smells like I have old donkeys in my living room for two weeks.The Montecristo No.2 is one helleva smoke!

Like a smile on a dog, I just dont see it. Construction is fine, wrapper always looks great, draw is perfect, only minor burn trouble... but... the smoke always strikes me as average. Better than average. Very good. But not the Holy Grail of Cuban cigars its so often touted as. Agreeable cocoa and wood flavors build to a spicy finish.

Like a smile on a dog, I just dont see it. Construction is fine, wrapper always looks great, draw is perfect, only minor burn trouble... but... the smoke always strikes me as average. Better than average. Very good. But not the Holy Grail of Cuban cigars its so often touted as. Agreeable cocoa and wood flavors build to a spicy finish.
