La Invicta Honduran Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 October, 2012
This cigar started out really well. A good even burn, nice construction and a really nice peppery/spicy taste which even a newbie like me could appreciate. by the half way point it became abit bitter which got progressively worse. Its worth a punt just for the awesome first half. Hopefully your second half will be better

Also, What Mark Bonner said about relighting them.. One of the best cigars I've come across for this. Consistently good results, no bitterness, or that peppery burn taste that catches the back of your throat.

Pretty damn good for the price! Not a particularly complex maduro, but I find them very satisfying. Lighter than a Camacho or a Secreto, lots of smoke, great draw. Always have a nice even burn. The only issue is the cap is sometimes very delicate, so that when you cut it, the wrapper starts to unravel. Three of the four I bought last time did this. I used a guillotine cutter and a punch with the same result. That wee bottle of repair glue I bought from CGars is very handy. A little patience and glue and it's all good again. Despite this issue, they still get five stars. I can't walk past Robert Graham's in Glasgow without going in for some.

I like a cigar that gives me a kick arse ride , and these do the job perfectly , I've been smoking these for 3 years , and never get bored with them , they are well made with a decent even burn that drops ash at around 2" , they're also good if you let one go out and relight , the maduro wrapper and extra mature tobacco within compliment each other with a wild spicy taste , produceing loads of smoke one takes about 50 mins to smoke , but I'm allways putting mine down while I'm in the workshop , they're full of strong flavour and not for the beginner , but I'd recommend to try any way , an ace smoke.

Rich and spicy. Nice even burn, lit easily and did not go out. Plenty of flavour and nice easy draw. Went down well with a coffee and scotch. Has made me realise that it doesn't have to always be cuban to be a nice smoke. Will be buying some more for sure. Fantastic value - Andy Roberts

I bought five of these for a quick smoke at a wedding as I was under strict orders (!) not to smoke my regular cigars (1.5 hours + smoke time) so I thought these robustos would be ideal. I wasn't prepared for how quick these actually would be...10 minutes of trying to smoke them before giving up. On the day, I took two for myself and one for my son. My cigar was extremely loose, it was like sucking on fresh air. My son's had a void along the centre of the filler, like a thin pen had been inserted prior to rolling and then removed. I was gutted. I tried my second several hours later, again this was an extremely loose cigar, puffing away with not much action. I tried my fourth today and got success! It was a very nice smoke and burned very well. Quite a mild/medium cigar with a reasonable amount of smoke. I have one left so I will see what happens with that one. I want to give these 4 stars but I cannot justify that with having only one good cigar out of four, to me that is just not acceptable.I have no problems with the service from C.Gars, but I don't think these do their
