La Invicta Honduran Petit Corona Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 06 January, 2016
I guess you can't expect too much at this pice, but the strong ash flavour overwhelmed everything else. Rather light, perhaps a little spicy but still harsh. Had to stub it out 25% of the way through. Won't buy again.

La Invicta Nicaraguan Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 30 December, 2015
The notes from cgars give an accurate description of this petit corona. It is well made, with an excellent burn, flavours as described already. Although it may lack development and subtle notes of an R&J say, it offers SUPERB VALUE, and is thorughly enjoyable from start to finger tips. Its a 'must try' and I shall be ordering more.

La Invicta Nicaraguan 58 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 16 December, 2015
Mild spice to the wrapper, easy, but not too light draw, even burn and well made. Its a richer smoke than the Honduran 58, medium flavour starting with light leather and cedar. Cedar develops right to the finger tips. Never harsh. Allowing the punitive tobacco tax in the UK, both the Invicta 58's offer good value. Thanks to Cgars for finding them for us.

La Invicta Honduran 58 Cigar - 1 Single

Very light draw, some loose packing in middle. Pleasant wrapper aroma, strong ash flavour, slight sting on the tongue and hard palate. Mellows in the middle, with a strong nicotine hit. Loose filling makes burn tricky. Flavours dont develop, some sweetness and quality of tobacco, and somehow, an enjoyable smoke. But not one for an occasion.

LCDH Partagas Culebras Cigars - One twist of 3 Cigars
Date Added: Saturday 05 December, 2015
What can I say about this cigar? On receiving this cigar in the post; I was most intrigued about what this would be like to smoke due to it's unusual appearance. I was looking forward to lighting one up out of the twist. Lighting: After a gentle toasting and with a little lick of flame the initial burn was spot on. Nice and easy with a lovely draw. I had a feeling that this was going to be quite an enjoyable herf. tasting notes: After the first few puffs; I was met with a slight hint of ceder with just a dash of coca. The aroma was very nice indeed. Quite earthy. As I progressed with the cigar; the spice increased but at the same time there was a very fresh and pleasing taste...Like going outside after the rain and getting that fresh sensation on the nose. The smoke was quite creamy, cool and pleasant; I almost forgot I was smoking a Partagas. Throughout the rest of the cigar; there was a lovely hint of ceder with a warming but gentle spice. Very moreish. I cannot for the life of me compare it to another cigar I've smoked and I really enjoyed it from the first p

La Invicta Honduran Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 28 November, 2015
I received this cigar when I ordered the Nicaraguan version, which wasn't a great issue. However, it was a little disappointing after I had smoked this, as I have to say it was one of the worst cigars I have smoked to date. The first third was lightly scented with a fairly hot smoke, with a hint of sweetness, but after this the remainder was very hot, tasting of nothing more than tabacco. Seemed very dry although had been at 70% humidity for a month. Hopefully, just a dud.
