La Galera Habano Chaveta Robusto Cigar - Box of 21
Date Added: Tuesday 25 June, 2019
You never know with a new order, so this was trading on reputation. However it is a winner, with a steady smoke, lasting almost an hour if smoked in a relaxing manner (is here any other?). Plenty of taste, well behaved and even-burning - keep it from getting too hot by being gentle, and the return is fragrant smoke, a gentle pull and a burn until your fingers are threatened. To get right down to a tiny butt is a compliment to structure and design. Take care when snipping to start - just the end bit. Packing is quite tight, but snip too much and the wrapper is at risk of unravelling. This is quite the best value and most relaxingly enjoyable smoke Ive had from Turmeaux. Its worth sitting the entire smoke to enjoy this consistent and well made product. Splendid.

La Invicta Nicaraguan Panetela Cigar - 1 Single

I really like these panetelas. similar price to Dutch everyday cigars but I prefer the flavour, plenty of smoke for a slim cigar, and can last 40 minutes if you smoke them gently.

La Invicta Nicaraguan Petit Corona Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 09 June, 2019
As somebody who doesnÂ’t have a huge budget for cigars so canÂ’t afford to be spending huge amounts on big Cubans, this is a FANTASTIC alternative!! Only been experimenting with cigars for the past few months and this is by far a firm favourite. Very nice looking cigar, great flavour, lovely even burn, holds its ash well, lights beautifully, easy draw and plenty of smoke. Could not fault it at all!! Will definitely be getting more of these. If your looking for a good size cigar but donÂ’t want to spend big money on Cubans this is a brilliant one to go with.

I had major burn issues. Had to keep touching it up and eventually dumped the cigar before the final third. Some online reviewers also mentioned poor burn quality. Taste was pretty good, but for me this cigar has have deal-breaking issues with the construction

La Invicta Nicaraguan Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 18 May, 2019
Have now tried both the Petit Corona and the Robusto from La Invicta and they have both been very enjoyable smokes. Do they stand up in a direct comparison to some of the more popular Habanos cigars? No, but when you compare the cost of these cigars (especially when bought in bundles) you will appreciate the tremendous value for money. Ive only been smoking for around a year but my personal experience with Cuban cigars has been hit and miss when it comes to quality control and consistency, I dont feel like Im getting my monies worth from a £13-20+ Cuban cigar every time. My experience with La Invicta cigars has been consistent and I think thats incredibly important with a luxury product like cigars. Just bought a bundle of 25 which should keep my humidor stocked for a few months at least. Solid woody/earthy flavours from start to finish with some nuttiness and spice from time to time, as other reviews noted this cigar goes really well with a nice cup of coffee.
