Luis Martinez Hamilton Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 23 July, 2020
Sorry but I cant agree with the other reviews here. The burn was very uneven and I had to re-light twice. The flavour for me was quite harsh and one dimensional throughout. In the final third the wrapper split open and I had to abandon all hope with this one.

Luis Martinez Ashcroft Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Started well pretty soft, creamy, cherry bit of spice. Second third cigar took on a harsh bitterness a hallmark of poor quality tobacco.

I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. I am not a hardcore smoker so have not yet developed an ability to pick out specific tastes and notes, but this tasted nice, burned evenly, had a smooth draw and lasted approx 35-40 mins. For £8.99 a stick I think I may have found a go-to cigar to stock up my humidor.

I’m no expert, I’ve only been smoking cigars for five years. However I had this as a sub in a order I put in and I’m happy to say I loved it and will now purchase a box. It had a really good draw and burned evenly all the way down with loads of smoke, I’m not one to go in-depth with flavours but I will say for the price it’s was very satisfying and well constructed

La Flor Dominicana - Double Ligero Chiselito Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 07 July, 2020
Sampled two of these and both seemed to have a tight draw which ruined what i think could of been a great smoke. In spite of that did i enjoy the flavours i tasted in the blend and suspect a Double Ligero in a different vitola might be more enjoyable smoke. I think the Chiselito design is a bit of a gimmick and adds little to the experience.

La Galera Habano Chaveta Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 04 July, 2020
Quite an intense and rather one-dimensional leathery taste initially, but as the cigar developed it became more earthy, smokey and woody with a nice aftertaste, before the leather flavour returned near the stub after an hour plus smoke. It got a bit hot towards the end although for the most part the cigar burned evenly and the draw was good. Overall an easy and relaxing afternoon smoke with a cup of coffee. Medium strength with a reasonable hit of nicotine.
