La Flor Dominicana El Carajon Cigar - 1 Single by John

I had high hopes for this cigar but was alas disappointed. It lights well, and burns very well but the wrapper started unravelling immediately. I had not cigar glue, and this spoiled my enjoyment no end. The flavour was up and down throughout the 30-minute smoke time, sometimes smooth and flavoursome, then harsh and unpleasant. I don't know if this was because of the poor build quality of my cigar. Perhaps I was unlucky in getting a poorly-made one, and I may have enjoyed it more if I'd had some cigar glue to repair it. I might try it again at some point, but based on this experience alone, it was not value for money.

The problem with buying these cigars is the inconsistency of their humidity. Even though they come sealed in a glass tube! Sometimes they burn perfectly, sometimes unevenly and worst of all sometimes they burn faster in the centre! Thankfully, I found that with my previous box from Turmeaus, the cigars had been removed from the tubes and stored in a Humidifier then returned to the tubes prior to posting. This helped greatly with the overall burn consistency however they weren't perfect so I've ordered a new box early and I'll store them in my humidor for at least 3 weeks prior to smoking.

I would say it's a light cigar. Great for a lunchtime smoke with a cup of coffee. I found the drew a little tight, but nothing to bad. I think the price it's brilliant for what it is. For me personally not strong enough, but definitely would give this to a friend who's just starting to enjoy cigars

La Galera Connecticut Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single by Thomas

Smoked nicely and very smooth just lacking flavour on the one I had, it was almost too mild haha. Still worth trying though for sure.

La Galera Corojo Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single by Craig

What a gem, a fantastic little cigar. Beautiful construction and even burn. Lasted me about 40 minutes. One of the best short coronas I have tried. The taste evolved nicely during the smoke. A lovely band too.
