A beautifully presented bottle, I purchased this for a friend for Christmas and couldnt resist gifting myself one too.. The perfect balance of a great bourbon, I bought on offer too so even better!

Fantastic, natural-tasting flavour. The plum and rum interacts with the base tobacco flavours beautifully. One of the best aromatics Ive tried.

This is first class stuff. I have long been looking for a replacement for much-missed Balkan Sobranie and since the disappearance of Red Rapparee this is the best I have found. Long may it continue.

This, for me, is a very nostalgic smoke. The dark, burnt tobacco awakens recollection of locomotives arriving at the platform wreathed in the smoke from Welsh steam coal or that sweet charcoal smell of pubs with open fires and pipe-smokers gathered round. Strong and delicious
