King Edward Specials Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Wednesday 23 October, 2019
Ive tried one of these today and I had to give it up half way as it was too harsh with a bitter after taste! I was recommended to try this by someone who used to smoke them many moons ago and Im afraid I couldnt agree with his positive comments about them. Im still very new to the different strengths and tasting notes of cigars. But this wasnt for me!

Kendal Mixed No.8 CV (Formerly Cherry & Vanilla) Mixture Pipe Tobacco (Loose)
Date Added: Monday 22 July, 2019
More a sup than a smoke as it burns quite hot. Faintly tastes like Bakewell tart but more of a crowd pleaser. Tobacco is pretty decent.

Kendal Black Irish XXX Pipe Tobacco (Loose)
Date Added: Saturday 28 April, 2018
This is my first rope tobacco as I’m a relative new comer to the world of pipe smoking having moved over from cigars. I am a bit of a puffer with a pipe which can cause problems with aromatics and certain types which get quite hot. This however I found a cool and satisfying smoke. I order a sample first as I wasn’t sure if it would be my cup of tea. On opening the pouch I was greeted with a a dark rope which almost resembled a large cigar in its thickness but squashed and more compressed. It has a smokey smell and also a slight vinegar smell (not unpleasant). I cut off a few slices which fell apart on the cutting board. I decided to break them apart by hand and then chopped the pipe into smaller pieces and began to pack my pipe. Once filled I realised I had packed it too tight for a sufficient draw and repacked again ensuring I had an easy draw through the pipe. I repacked about 3/4 of my original packing when reloading the pipe and lit it up. It took a bit longer than loose tobacco to light but when going it only required a few re-lights through the whole bowl. It is a smokey flavou

King Edward Imperial Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Wednesday 21 June, 2017
As we know these cigars are machine made. One of the issues I've found over many years of buying them, is occasionally you'll find a bad cigar in a batch. I've noticed this particularly with boxes of 50, but even some packets of five. Some are potholed with tiny holes by the machine, making them useless unless you can cut them down, but some have holes throughout the length of the cigar, meaning it has to be binned. Other than that, it's a very mild smoke and I'll continue to buy them here and overseas.

Kendal Ennerdale Pipe Tobacco 50g (Tin)
Date Added: Thursday 05 January, 2017
This is a good alternative to some stronger tobaccos. A good, cool, all day smoke. When I first opened the tin, the tobacco smelt very perfumed, perhaps too much so. But how wrong I was, when I took my first puff I was greeted by the extremely pleasant flavours of vanilla with hazel nut. Sweet, but highly flavoured. The aroma of this tobacco is phenomenal, powering throughout the room. The scent lasting a long time with hints of sweet and fruity nuts. This tobacco does have a reputation for “ghosting” your pipe, leaving remnants of the smoke for a long time to come. But, considering the amazing flavour, I don't really see this as a downside as it makes for some very interesting combinations when mixed with other tobaccos. All in all, this tobacco is best for those who enjoy a lighter more flavourful smoke. - Connor Turmeaus Norfolk
