Inka Secret Blend Blue Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single

This is an excellent cigar, superb value for money. Delicious, rich medium sweet, full bodied flavour. Nice looking cigar with a great draw. Would easily hold It's own with many Cubans, in my opinion. Will definitely be buying more in the future.

Inka Secret Blend Red Half Corona Cigar - Pack of 4
Date Added: Wednesday 23 October, 2013
I bought these because I wanted to try something different to my usual Cuban & Nicaraguan cigars. They had fair to good reviews as well, so on the order they went. I wasn't expecting too much in the way of taste or quality, probably based on price I suppose. Well, was I wrong on both accounts! It was a little veiny near the foot which gave it an uneven burn to start with but soon evened out & developed a tight fine ash which refused to fall off until past 2 inches! Nice strong spice notes throughout the cigar which linger on the pallet after you've finished. These would be great with a strong coffee & 20-30 mins to spare. Definatly buying again, at this price you can't go wrong!

For £5.49 I wasn't expecting much, but the reviews seemed good and so I thought if nothing else it was going to be a pleasant cigar. Unfortunately it didn't start out great, the cap was horribly askew and it seemed far too firm. Lighting was a challenge and it took me nearly five matches to get a solid burn going and many more touching up where the wrapper was burning uneven through the smoke. Draw was hard, as initially suspected it was tighter packed than it needed to be and this made smoking it too much of an effort. It went out several times before I had even reached the halfway mark and after the third relight I eventually consigned it to its fate. Flavour wise it was a nice cigar, sweet with a lingering flavour that clung to my palate between draws but it was not enough to warrant how difficult it proved to be to smoke. I have another Rojo Red, the Figurado and if this is an improvement I'll definitely revisit the line. But first impressions left a lot wanting and it was ultimately unsatisfying and £5.49 I feel I could have spent better.
