Inka Secret Blend Red Half Corona Cigar - Pack of 4
Date Added: Saturday 22 April, 2017
Have now smoked several packs of these and really enjoy them. A lovely mellow flavour that seems enhanced by a few weeks in the humidor. Have only had one failure, when the wrapper started to unfurl about halfway through, within a short while it resembled a joke cigar after the bang! In spite of this I would still recommend these beauties.

After having a bad experience with another member of the Inka family I went in to this cigar with an open mind and am so glad I did, this is a fantastic cigar. After cutting the cap did start to unravel but on the plus side the construction was excellent and uniform, it felt like a high quality cigar and held its ash extremely well. The draw was a little looser than I'd normally like but it did not hinder the experience. The burn was good, it did start to tunnel on occasion but always returned to an even burn. Where the cigar really shines is the flavour profile, it consists of a silky smooth and prominent sweetness with tangy and toasty/roasty notes and a hint of nuts, these flavours combine to create an almost floral/citrus character in the background. The aftertaste is divine; subtle sweet, tangy and nutty characteristics linger on the palate for a long time. Words don't do the taste of this cigar justice. Unfortunately it started to rain heavily just as I was getting to the final third, I quickly clipped it and am confident that despite being previously smoked it will still be

Unfortunately I really struggled to keep an even burn on this cigar, it seemed to have a few construction issues as there were little hollow sections in the cigar which were confirmed by holes in the ash. It did go out a few times too and needed to be nursed to burn correctly. The flavour was amazing during the periods when the burn was good but unfortunately I couldn't really enjoy it. I am sure this is just a one off and I look forward to trying other cigars in the Inka range.

Not a good experience. Didn't burn right, tasted acrid.

For me my smoking time is limited to a good walk with the dogs, usually on the weekend, so I look for a quality cigar that doesn't break the bank but provides me with about an hour or so of pleasure. After three years of trying cigars from cgarsltd.c.uk I think I have hit the holy grail. Previous stubby cigars have left my feeling nauseous but this was a real pleasure to smoke. The first third was both tangy and sweet with a delightful aroma, the second a smooth salty nutty smoke and the final third was a consistent light hay taste. There was no harshness or bitterness to this stick but it was light, however by gosh it was pleasant. My only complaint is the sheer gauge of the thing (I only have a small mouth). If cGars can replicate the taste in a smaller ring gauge I am sold. Otherwise, I will be ordering a whole bundle of these.

Really just an echo of what others have said. Beautifully made, great draw, not too strong, good burn, lovely flavour. Value for money is extremely high. If you have several little luxuries regularly competing for your wallet, the high quality of these cigars at this price leaves no excuse not to include them in the list. Lovely with espresso.
