Hiram & Solomon Fellow Craft Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 31 May, 2026
Disappointing to say the least. Ordered two of these on the Monday, delivered on the Thursday and tried smoking one on the Sunday. The condition wasn’t too great but decided to give it a try. From the minute I cut it the outer started unraveling to the point where it became impossible to smoke. I normally go instore and never had this issue. My first home delivery has resulted in this utter disappointment.

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 3 Cigar - 1 Single

Classic looking Cuban, smooth, tan brown, slightly oily habano wrapper, some veins but still smooth and good looking, nice dual bands, kinda shouty and flashy but not garish or embarrassingly overkill. Cut with a single V the cold draw was a touch tight; however, once lit it drew beautifully producing huge amounts of thick, cool white smoke on each draw with the bonus of virtually nothing in between. Burn line was a touch wavey but it never needed correcting, ash looked flaky but held for a good half inch. Light bodied with absolutely no strength, some gentle roasted pecan upfront alongside dry leather and light earthy notes, has a nice residual creamy sweetness throughout with just a subtle ramp up of existing flavours to finish. Would actually make a great introduction to Cuban cigars for a relative beginner. Also nice to have a regular production Cuban that isn't plugged/unsmokeable/falls apart, or otherwise a complete disaster.

Hiram & Solomon Grand Architect Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Nice looking cigar, dry feeling but smooth leather brown wrapper, large, fairly unmistakable but good looking band...not exactly subtle though. Cut with a guillotine, draw was surprisingly tight, cigar felt evenly packed and didn't have and noticeable knots...nothing I could feel anyway, smoke output was thin due to the draw but cool. Burn wasn't razor sharp but it was even and needed zero corrections, ash held for days, had to tap at 1.5 inches as I didn't want to to wear it. Surprisingly very citrus forward initially, quite lemon heavy alongside some light roasted nut and leather, shifts to slightly sweet mixed spices alongside a continuation of roasted nut, finish is a touch of vanilla alongside drying leather and cedar. Medium body but zero strength throughout. Decent enough, great flavours but let down by the overly tight draw.

Nice flavour but the draw is far to tight leaving me unsatisfied and disappointed.

This was my initial cigar from the Hiram and Solomon range, its a fairly nice cigar with some good flavour to it, and the smell os very pleasant, although, I found the flavour a little sharp about half way down, one id probably smoke again, however, having now tried a number of other cigars from this brand, this would be low down on my list to buy again.

This cigar is a lovely smoke, easy even burn and great flavour. A little heat hits you about half way down, but only enhances the experience. Did notice this smoked longer than it said though, could be me still being fairly new to the cigar world though, still immensely enjoyable and will be ordering a box soon.
