Gurkha 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Trienta Toro Cigar - Tin of 5 by Duncan

Absolutely fantastic smoke, bought these to share with friends at a get together, I'm nowhere near experienced enough yet to discuss tasting notes however I can say, very smooth and near perfect burn. A little tight in the first half but not enough to hinder the experience. Enjoyed by all, definitely be ordering a other box.

Gurkha Ghost Shadow - Robusto Cigar - 1 Single by simon

It was a 70 minute smoke time for me all the way to the nub. Flavours of Wood, Leather and maybe a little touch of bitter chocolate and some spice. The first two thirds you could not put the cigar down for a minute as it would want to go out so you need to be constantly puffing every 30 seconds or so to have a good burn. After removing the band this was no longer an issue and was very enjoyable.

Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Year Old Gold Hedonism Tubed - 1 Single by simon

This smoke started off with a tight draw but after about 15 minutes it opened up a little. Tastes of wood , toasted nuts and a very small amount of bitter chocolate. Burn line was good but you need to puff on this more than you want to just to keep it alight. Took me about an hour to get to removing the band (no issues) and the flavour was the same apart from a little more spice due to having to puff it more than I usually would. My total smoke time was around 75 to 80 mins close to the nub and plenty more spice was felt closer to the nub. Last 3rd produced plenty of smoke smooth and more spiciness.

Gurkha Ghost Angel Tubed Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single by simon

This cigar is medium in strength with woody and toasted nuts and a little bitter dark chocolate with plenty of smoke per puff. It held the ash well and the burn line was straight as they come. For me it was a 75 minute smoke time (Slow leisurely smoker). Last third close to the nub I picked up a strange flavour of cloves.

Started off very difficult to draw over the first third but last two thirds was ok. Pleasant smoke with a touch of spice all the way through. I bought a tin of five of these and this was the first one I have smoked so far. The others I will leave in the humidor for a few months and will try again.

Gurkha Royal Challenge Toro Tubed Cigar - 1 Single by simon

I am a leisurely smoker and this lovely cigar lasted me 1hr and 50 minutes. Smoothness 9/10, flavour 9/10, build quality 10/10 ash retention on this is 11/10 it holds the ash like crazy which tells me that the build quality is great. I smoked this with it being in my humidor for only a couple of weeks and will keep another for a few months and try it again. Both bands came away very very easily. The flavour I got was Smooth Tobacco, Wood, Leather and some expresso or very dark chocolate most of the way through. A new smoker would enjoy this if smoked slowly also would be suitable for the faster smoker who like a bit of added spice (nicotine). This is one to try for sure.
