The most satisfying cigar I have ever had - tantalising complex flavours (earthy, coffee/chocolatety, leathery, gitanes, spicy), moist and creamy, smooth on the throat. Dont need to take out a mortgage to smoke them

Fonseca Cosacos Cigar - 1 Single by Andrew

I had one of these yesterday as I did my shopping at the market. I was a little dubious after a dud cadetes from the same company, but this was good, rich, easy going, flavourful and sweet. It’s not going to replace my usuals, but I’d buy some more for occasional smoking. Outside in the autumn, idling around, it was perfect.

This was quite a nice smooth relaxing smoke, well constructed, consistent, even burn to the end and a good cool draw throughout. Very slight herbal/hay and woody taste. The tissue paper is a nice touch too. Will buy again...

Fonseca KDT Cadetes Cigar - Box of 25 by Christopher

I gave up smoking cigarettes a few years ago. I have only recently started with cigars, and smoked a few different grades, looking for a corona sized mild smoke, most are a little harsh but, this KDT Cadetes is the smoothest smoke I have found. A little hard to draw but satisfying an eminently enjoyable.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I bought one of these based on the previous reviews that I had read and was looking forward to sitting out on the deck with a coffee and enjoying this cigar. I was surprised when I removed the paper coating to find the stick was quite veiny and the seam of the wrapper was quite prevalent. Nevertheless, I cut and toasted (narrowly missing the remains of the cap peeling away) and then sat down to enjoy this smoke. Initially, I found the smoke harsh on the soft palate and back of the throat. I was getting a strong saltiness which wasn't unpleasant but the harshness was distracting from the flavour. Just as it began to settle down and get a bit more mellow, the burn began to grow increasingly uneven. The ash began to droop and then after only about an inch of the way down, it went out completely. I relit and continued but very soon thereafter, the burn became uneven again and a dark colouration started to develop halfway down the wrapper. It didn't lose the bitterness either. And then, another half an inch and it went out again! At this point, I was cursi
