Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single by John

This has been the big disappointment so far of the 6 cigar sampler Ive been smoking my way through (2 left). Seemed like poor construction. Rather loose wrapper. Tight draw for the first half, got much better after that. Not a great deal of smoke. In its favour, it does burn slowly. Got too hot near the end, you cant smoke this down to a near-stub. Not much flavour - it flattered to deceive. Just as you think some rich fullness is developing, it fades away again. Once I felt some chocolatey note coming through, but again it disappeared. No complexity to speak of - monotone nothingness mostly. Mostly mild, but nothingness mild is not appealing. Quite a lengthy smoke - about 25 minutes. Considering its Davidoff, Id anticipated much better. Not value for the price. Nothing like as good as La Rica tubitos, my favourite cheapo, in fact £2.50 or more cheaper. I didnt feel that much thought or care had gone into this Davidoff offering. Wont buy again. 2 stars.

Davidoff Signature 2000 Tubos Cigar - 1 Single by Stephen

Very nice smoke, one of my faves. I felt it was a little more substancial than the light-medium strength but thats just my take. Will be buying again for sure.

Bought for the Mrs to enjoy. (Not a regular cigar smoker) A lovely draw, peppery to start, smooth finish. Lovely aroma. CanÂ’t go wrong at this price.

Drew Estate Undercrown Shade Corona Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued) by Thomas

This cigar had a lot of nice tasting notes, the first third brought floral, light coffee and woody flavours. The second and last third gave smooth roasted nut/coffee flavours. I imagine this cigar would be great for an afternoon smoke. The reason I am only giving 3/5 as a score is the burn was very wonky and just wouldnt be corrected no matter what I did, which was a shame as one side seemed to want to burn a hell of a lot quicker than I wanted to smoke it.

Davidoff Signature 2000 Cigar - 1 Single by Brad

I think this may be the nicest cigar I’ve smoked. It is very gentle and has a sweet cream taste to it with hardly any pepper. Has a light wood flavour to it as well. Also one of the best smelling cigars I’ve had. One of the best burns I’ve had on a cigar too. It’s a little on the expensive side but I rate it highly.

After trying about a dozen cigars now (Im a newbie), Im afraid this one is the worst. I havent smoked cigarettes for 15 years, but this tasted like one. No other cigar leaves its mark the next morning, either in the mouth or on the fingers, but this did. Sorry.
