My first cigar with a darker wrapper and I am getting lovely sweet cocoa notes. Really impressed with the construction and burn, especially for the price. I will be getting more to stock up the humidor!

This selection is like a introductory telescope to cigars they are all very different, but go through the same process as with their larger counterparts so you get all the flavours as close as possible to their larger variants. This is priced very well on this website, and it’s great if you want to try a few dree estate but don’t want the full versions. I will also add despite their size these do burn for a while longer than their given time

The Liga Privada No. 9 was my first experience of a truly full-bodied cigar and it certainly lived up to its reputation.
Even in 37 degree heat, the construction and burn proved excellent, producing huge amounts of thick, creamy smoke with impressive ash retention and a consistent burn throughout. Flavours developed gradually, with roasted coffee notes and increasing peppery spice as I worked my way down the stick, while the aroma remained pleasantly sweet which I loved.
Powerful yet surprisingly smooth, this definitely isn't an everyday cigar for me, but it has instead earned a respected place in my humidor as a special occasion smoke.

Had as a 'mystery cigar' addition. Not bad, but did end up unravelling a bit near the end. Just bear in mind that these are $2 cigars (yes...two dollars) if you buy elsewhere in the world. So good for that kind of price but not so great with our UK pricing.
