What a pleasure ! I dont often review, well this is my 1st ! But the flavour of this cigar is still on my lips and Id like to give it credit. A big cigar, a Churchill at 7 and 48 ring gauge at £13.39 but you already know that. Before lighting; it has a lovely medium dark binder, no flaws I can see, no glue repairs needed, nice clean aroma. It cut very cleanly and the pre light draw was open and free from any plugs that I can feel.
Toasted and lit the first draw was cool with a good rounded flavour, mild for such a large cigar, after a couple of minutes it came to life, my kind of life, what a soothing flavour. I settled down hoping against disappointment, and it never happened. I started at 15:40 ended at 17:30, note I smoke slowly, compared to what Ive read from others, I want to take my time, this hobby aint a cheap one, I gave up cigarettes 6 years ago after 40 odd years so now I can afford the odd cigar now and then, and I dont cough my guts out in the morning, a blessing!
First impressions...I LIKE! Very even burn, compared to many, extremely nice taste on the lip and through
