Cohiba Coronas Especiales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 28 December, 2014
Sunday afternoon in a frozen back garden in NI I decided to have a post Christmas treat complimented with a mulled wine, I have to say that it was the first time I had one of these Especiales and have to say it was absolutely delightful. It had a superb drag with little effort and burned evenly. Taste of dark chocolate with that smooth and slightly mild, pleasantness that only Cohibas bring. My last cigar was a partagas no4 and it was a bit more work so this was satisfying. I was surprised that for its length it didn't last as long as I thought but perhaps that was just me enjoying its goodness. I will definitely be having one of these again very soon. Thanks Cgars ltd

Cohiba Siglo VI Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 26 December, 2014
Tonight I smoked my first ever Cohiba siglo VI which had a gorgeous silky smooth milk chocolate wrapper with a slight fuzz on the wrapper this shows good ageing and humidification the cigar also had a nice even pack and a packed foot. After inspecting the cigar I then had a smell of the wrapper and foot, it had a beautiful honey, coco and a sweet hay pre light aroma once I had cut the beautifully done triple cap the first initial pre light taste was a nice pepper on the lips mixed with an earthy note with a hint of coco. After slowly toasting the cigar the first taste notes where a very delicious cream with bit of pepper spice there's was a cappuccino coffee note also probably where the cream is coming from. On the finish there is a lovely milk chocolate which coats the pallet however the finish doesn't last long which is a shame as it was a great blend of rich flavours which I loved, the cigar also has a lovely draw lots of thick smoke output and burning perfectly so far. 16 mins in entering the first third that pepper spice at the start has gone leaving a hint of black pepper

Chinchalero Novillo Cigar - 1 Single

A bit to fat for me and nothing exceptional in the flavour department to make it worth buying again. It was Ok but there are so many others with more flavour and easier to handle.

Cohiba Siglo I Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 21 December, 2014
Undoubtedly my now personal short smoke of choice. Very well built and comes in a beautiful little tube. Today was my second time trying these. It's a lazy Sunday morning and a little taste of Cohiba magic was perfect for a lazy hour's worth of coffee drinking and internet surfing. The first 3rd starts out wonderfully with all the wonderfull mysterious aromas and smells that are so unique to Cohiba tobacco. This is a cigar with interesting complexities that are never to overbearing. I found the draw perfect and although I did have to relight after the second 3rd I was not too concerned (I only get frustrated at the second relighting). A bit more pricey than the other players in this size range but well worth it.

Chinchalero Picadillos Cigar - 1 Single

Bought a couple of singles to sample - won't be buying again. Most notable characteristic was the overpoweringly soapy-tasking wrapper. The smoke shared a similar soapy character, but the taste of the cap on my tongue was so nauseating I left this to die after smoking less than half an inch - not for me at all.
