Brick House Double Connecticut Corona Larga Cigar - 1 Single by Baer

This is a very good quality and very good value cigar. It is a smooth and balanced cigar that lacks the last bit of complexity. I am afraid that I am mostly using my review as a rant around the notion that “beginners” need a light cigar and then more sophisticated, more experienced smokers want something bigger, richer, stronger bla bla bla. This is utterly ludicrous. Implicit in this is the notion that some big greasy dark cigar is more “advanced” or sophisticated or grown up than a Quai d’Orsay. Or by an analogy to wine, if you like a delicate Grand Cru Burgundy you are less advanced or sophisticated than someone who likes a Barossa Valley Shiraz. Rant over.

Bolivar Petit Coronas Cigar - 1 Single by Michael

This was really disappointing. Really tight draw and had to keep relighting. Lips began to burn very early in amd genuinely regretted this one.

Bolivar Royal Corona Cigar - 1 Single by Rodney

I found the draw very easy and the whole experience very pleasant. Very fine cigar. Slightly floral flavour, enjoyed with a fine Greek Metaxa brandy. Nutty and buttery notes into the second third. Lovely creamy flavour throughout too. Recommend this offering from Bolivar!

Brick House Double Connecticut Robusto Cigar - Box of 5 by Richard

These are great cigars - tried the Mighty Mighty which is excellent but these are a scaled down version that doesnÂ’t disappoint. Exceptional draw and great even burn. Mild but tasty this a great cigar lasts about 70 mins for me as I smoke a bit slower and get to do other stuff in between but very impress from the gentle spicy notes to the hint of coffee and cedar this is a great cigar - just ordered 5 more

Brick House Double Connecticut Corona Larga Cigar - 1 Single by Sahand

Quite a good smoke, just not to my preference. I found it a bit too mild for my taste, however it had excellent draw and I still enjoyed it thoroughly for just over an hour. For me I tasted a very slight spice and a small note of acidity, almost like raisin or cherry or maybe even a coffee flavour. I havenÂ’t got the most advanced palate, but I liked the flavour, just a little weak for me. Very smooth retrohale and no harshness at all. IÂ’d recommend it for a beginner smoker, but for people looking for a more bold cigar, IÂ’d consider the non-Connecticut version of this cigar, which is more flavourful and less spicy. Never went out while I was smoking and had a very even nice burn.

Brick House Double Connecticut Mighty Mighty Cigar - 1 Single by David

Great cigar. I gave it a V cut and the draw was still lightning. Burn was pretty sharp and held the ash really well. No touch ups required, could leave it and go back to it with no issues. Woody and peppery with a cool draw. Although rated medium strength I found this really strong after a few cubans earlier in the week. No way I could smoke this to the moustache. Would recommend but too strong for me.
