Alec Bradley Black Market Punk Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single by Geoffrey

I was so impressed with my first one of these that I ordered another and am now going to order some more because the second was every bit as good as the first. I usually only smoke Cubans rather than new world and only got onto the Alec Bradley Black Market because of a recommendation in Robert Graham in Cambridge. This robust cigar packs flavour, which others have done a fab job of describing. It’s not for the faint hearted but will reward those who like a smoke that delivers a bit of a punch (in a good way!). The draw is excellent and it burns smoothly. I had to relight a couple of times but that’s normal for me with all cigars as I don’t like to puff so much that the smoke gets hot. The cigar relit easily and burned well. I got around 50 mins out of each of the sticks I have smoked, smoking them all the way down. Even on the last few puffs when the smoke was running pretty hot it was with reluctance that I had to accept that the end was nigh, which to me is always the sign of a great cigar. First stick to smoke out of this month’s subscription box (Nov ’22), really elegant smoke, cream-y and sweet - a touch milder than my preference but nuanced and gentle - a nice daytime smoke perhaps. Still thinking about it the next day, will get more.

Aladino Maduro Corona Box Pressed Cigar - 1 Single by Danut

An excellent cigar from Honduras! Medium to full-bodied strength. Earthy notes with a slight nuance of dried plums and/or beetroot, smoked oakwood and Borodinsky bread. No leather notes at all, which I personally find very pleasing! The smoke is smooth and rich but not creamy. The cigar burns very well, and the draw is perfect. The flavour doesn't overstay its welcome on your palate. It gets a 10/10 from me.
