Picked one of these up in the St James store today. A really nice smoke for a fantastic price. Lots of black pepper and coffee, always a favourite flavour profile for me. Notes of cinnamon, orange and toffee keeps the interest going over the roughly 40 minutes smoking time. I paired it with a dark Christmas ale which suited it well. I usually go for a bigger ring gage but would really recommend this.

I thought I would give one of these a go courtesy of the reputation afforded to the maker and the reviews I have seen here and elsewhere. First impressions were of a bit of fragility in construction, especially around the cap, which I found a bit delicate and an attempt at punching failed so I resorted to a follow up cut which still resulted in some peeling. But after a bit of tidying up it turned out OK. First light was pleasant followed by nuts and mellow fruitfulness to coin a phrase. It opened up nicely and developed over the next period. But the final third became a bit dull and monotonous, with just deep smokiness and little else. I got a gentle 1 hour 20 out of it. I was mindful of the strength profile as described, I veer towards the medium end in my preference, if your taste is for the fuller variety then this may be more to your liking. So overall quite decent, happy to try, but I doubt I'll be coming back for more.

I enjoyed this cigar all be it a bit small, it has a decent smoke and the flavour was not bad, especially with a black coffee. I did have to relight it a few times. I would buy it again. I took me roughly 10 minutes to smoke it.

This is the first time
Me I have owned a filter pipe, I found the filters easy to change, removed most of the excess moisture from the tobacco and best of all cut down pipe cleaning dramatically.

A Mitchellero Trio Sampler - 3 Cigars

Newbie to cigars here, but if I can help out other noobs, I'll be happy. 1st off, brilliant service from CGars, thank you. I found this Mitchellero sampler fantastic value for money. I'm at the stage of just sampling different cigars that are value for money, before I move on to more expensive choice cigars. I loved both the Corona & the Robusto. Both burnt well, no plugs, nice even ash & had a good flavoursome taste throughout. I was slightly disappointed with the Novellini. Not like previous reviews in that it had a tight draw, mine was good. But I thought it would have more flavour, being a bigger ring gauge & expecting a deeper, more intense flavour of the filler, because of the greater ring gauge. I found it just a bit meh. Little flavour, did not intensify from the beginning to the end. Was my 1st 60 ring & expected a more mature flavour. Overall though, a great choice of selection for an introduction. Cannot wait to further my cigar experience.

As a new pipe smoker I’ve been trying lots of different tobaccos to get an understanding of flavours.
I’d thought I had found my ideal tobacco in a Kentucky Black Cherry Cavendish, but sadly that is being discontinued. After lots of research came across Ultimum, what can I say a perfectly balanced tobacco cool and sweet with not even a hint of tongue bite.
I enjoyed my first bowl so much, I had another straight away. Definately my new go to tobacco to help me unwind, I savour every sip.
