Got this I’m my subscription a few months back. Lit well and burn was good but the only flavour I really got was a burnt tar that really clings to the inside of the mouth. Had to give up on it halfway through. I do like a full strength cigar but this definitely wasn’t for me

Trinidad Fundadores Cigar - 1 Single

This cigar had been on my radar for some time now. After deciding to buy one, I saved it in my humidor for a special occasion. Today was my 10 year anniversary returning from Afghanistan, so I thought the occasion fit the cigar. However, after 20 mins of puffing on a very tight draw, minimal smoke output and a terrible experience, I decided to put it out and light up a budget daily smoke. Don’t waste your money - a decent £6 new world robusto is far better

A really stunning cigar from a well trusted brand. Plenty of Oak notes and plumes of smoke; a lovely evening cigar that pairs well with a quality Cognac.

Having seen the reviews of this, I purchased a couple of these on my last trip to Cgars St James.
I had high hopes upon lighting, seemed great. After the initial burn and taste it was like sucking golf ball through a hose! From what I’d read, the Fundadores were supposed to be the creme de la creme! I was found wanting.
Yes, 40rg you’d expect a resistant draw but I gave up after 3 relights. I’ll let it grow in the garden!

Trinidad Media Luna Cigar - 1 Single

The Trinidad Media Luna is one of the few cigars that has never disappointed me. The flavours are very similar to several other Trinidad cigars. This and the Fundadores are now some of my all time favourite cigars. Its an incredible smoke and one that I highly recommend.

Trinidad Reyes Cigar - 1 Single

I am writing this review sat in the morning sun under the shade of my apple tree. Next to me, on the garden bench a cup of Kenya AAA coffee and in my hand a Trinidad Reyes. In these strange days this is probably as close to heaven as you can get. The Trinidad is a perfect size for a thirty to forty minute smoke and indeed my ideal size for both feel in the hand and duration. It draws perfectly, is pleasant and smooth all the way to the end, no hint of bitterness or heat, perfect with my morning coffee.
I am relatively new to Cubans and this is only my second Reyes but it’s quickly became a firm favourite. Excellent service by the way, from Cgars as usual.
