Trinidad Reyes Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 01 June, 2020
Bit gutted with this purchase, i love Trinidad as a brand and really enjoyed the Trinidad Colniales Short. This cigar was a wee bit tough on the draw, even after altering the cut top improve draw. The first 3rd was pleasant smooth creamy smoke rich in Vanilla, pepper/spicy floral notes. Unfortunately this is when the cigar unraveled and fell apart becoming harsh, bitter, the only cigar i had to stop smoking because of construction flaws. Benefit of the doubt this time round. Will have to revisit and review again.

Very nice smoke. Lasted a good 40 minutes. Strength 7/10. Body 6/10. Definitely one for the future - just wish it had lasted longer!

Trinidad Topes Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 29 May, 2020
The limited edition version of this cigar were simply the best cigars Ive ever smoked, I’m saving the last 3 from the box I bought for special occasions! When I heard the line was making in to regular production I was excited to say the least. Having smoked one so far I am not disappointed. Although not quite up to the standard of the LE all the flavours are there, I strongly suspect the main difference being the years on it. Fingers crossed Given a few years in the humidor these will reach the level of the LEs

Very sweet and quite mild with a touch of white spice. Tough to draw at the start, but very well made, no unraveling, very firm cigar. Short ash. Lovely mild but spicy smoke

Tatuaje Petit Cazadores Reserva Cigar - Cabinet of 50
Date Added: Sunday 26 April, 2020
I bought a cabinet of these nearly three months ago, took them out of the box and straight into my humidor but left the cellophane on them. When I bought a single stick, it was a little dry, hard almost and the airflow wasnt that great but it did taste like it had the potential to be nice tobacco. So I took a gamble and bought the 50. Having had them sat for three months has made a world of difference. I have taken them all out of the cellophane now and admittedly, some of them do look and feel ugly as sin. Ive had about one a fortnight as well as given some away (not because I dont like them but because some have never smoked a cigar and theyre not too expensive to let someone try, plus theres so many, I can play swapsies with friends, so why not?). The oils are starting to return to the wrapper and theyre not as stiff as they were when I bought them and the draw has improved a great deal as well as the taste. Still not as good as my Bradley BMs but close enough to have as a quick stick. Another three months and theyll be perfect. My only two gripes with these are the bands and caps

Tatuaje Petit Cazadores Reserva Cigar - 1 Single

I had this with a coffee after lunch. Nicely wrapped and firm filler, no damage or blemishes to the outside. Lit well and didnt need the lighter again. 1/3 was steady, nothing overwhelming, but a steady draw with no issues. 2/3, I was getting oak/wood with a touch of spice, which was very pleasant. This continued to the end, with a strong caramel coming in on the palate. Very flavourful and enjoyable cigar, my partner even commented on the aroma, asking if it was a cuban! No complaints here, 30-40 minutes, would buy this again, 82/100.
