Robert McConnell Maduro Superb Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin (Discontinued)
Date Added: Wednesday 30 June, 2021
Im a relatively new smoker, and have been subscribed to the pipe tobacco subscription for a few months now. A sample of this was included a month or two back, and this is the first of the ~20 or so blends Ive tried that Ive gone ahead and purchased a full tin of once Ive exhausted my stock. Its a beautiful dark tobacco that smells like a rich christmas pudding in the tin. The smoke itself is mild, particulary at first, and the flavour overall is like sipping on a spiced rum. It does gets a little sharper and spicier as you go. Ive seen other reviews about the internet descriping this one as bland, but I dont agree with that characterisation. I find slowly puffing on this one to be a particular relaxing experiance. Perhaps easy-going would be a better description, and Im glad a sample of this one found its way into the subscription box to establish itself as one of my favourites.

Regius Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I canÂ’t disagree with any of the fellow reviews. It has a great taste of a Cuban not being a Cuban! ItÂ’s certainly a great creamy cigar with a good wrapper and it goes great with a coffee, IÂ’d say definitely a cigar for those free mornings. I got fifty mins from mine and it was a lovely smoke. IÂ’ve been filling up the humidor and sporadically filling up on these. For the price, you can do far, far worse. The draw for me was a little tight, but the flavour and smoke was there and the ash held, which was a crisp white. The burn was even sand it got better as it burnt and cooled. Definitely one to add to your humidor.

Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 28 June, 2021
A wonderful light smoke, I must admit that Romeo are my go to brand as they have the perfect balance of smoothness and complexity for me, I’m not a fan of the heavier stronger cigars, this was a lovely smoke from start to finish (about 30mins) good draw which has made a change from the last few Romeos i’ve smoked which have all been extremely tight and required a draw spike to open up a bit. Thoroughly recommended!

First let me thank Rocky Patel, and (The Nicaraguan people) so much for this great Cigar. Medium to full body, the draw, burn, and construction are amazing. Varied bouquet of Flavors, aromas, and after tastes.. Such as ... woody, leather, coffee, chocolate, sweet, black pepper, roasted nuts, and rich smoke. I will make sure keeps a large number of these woooow fancy sticks in my cigar humidors. Thank you so much C.GARS , Michelle Adler for all excellent choices and services. ✨

Regius Connecticut Toro Cigar - 1 Single

A great cigar. Nicest Connecticut IÂ’ve had. Preferred it to the Brickhouse range ( which I liked), smoked perfectly, with a nice even burn. Smooth and mild yet had some real flavour. Perfect afternoon smoke. Best value cigar out there- recommended

Rocky Patel Number 6 Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 24 June, 2021
Body (Flavours): Medium Strength (Nicotine): Medium Lots of dense smoke and a well contrary red cigar. Started off a little peppery and then got milder in the 2nd 3rd which was sort of a cocoa flavour. The last third was smooth and as you can see from the photo hard to let go off.
