Quorum Shade Grown Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 30 December, 2020
Surprised me this one, in a good way. Excellent construction, near perfect burn and good draw. Light woody notes and creamy Walnut and brazil nut flavours. Light milky coffee note on the retrohale.Got slighty spicey in the last third. Lasted over an hour. Left the palette clean, no bad aftertaste. For a budget priced cigar, this was excellent, and shall be trying more from the brand.

Beautiful. Thick gauge makes it a cool smoke and flavor palette is exactly to my taste, light and nutty, but its the herbiness that makes it stand out, left an almost minty aftertaste, very clean sensation. I dont think Ive smoked anything I liked more, this to me is on par with the luxury cigars at a better price point. Also I only left it for a month or so from receiving it—wondering what age might do to such a nice stick.

I was looking forward to this having read the reviews, settled into an armchair with a good book on my lap. The book was good but the cigar a disappointment. The wrapper was dry and friable, the draw poor and the flavour only OK. I wont be buying it again.

I was kinda of ok with its woody, sweet coffee taste. Medium a bit boring but pleasant. Till it reach the last 1/3 where it seem to change into more peppery flavour but soon you realise its just a bad harsh tobacco taste. Not worth it even for its price.

I smoked this cigar (or at least lit it) 6 hours ago. Im still not entirely sure how to review it but here goes: Smoke time: 1 hour 58 minutes Drank with: glenfiddich 12 year old First impressions: rough wrapper, inconsistent packing but some shhen in the right light. Smelt good. Wrapper felt a bit loose/flakey. Also very dry. Cut/draw: tough to cut and really tight draw. Cut some more off, still a tight draw. Didnt dare cut more off for fear of the wrapper peeling off. Draw very tight. Worrying. First light: tough draw after a good minute if toasting. End lit well but very little smoke coming through. 1st third: sweet and woody notes. Very little smoke (apart from cherry end). Notice the wrapper is peeling off toward third 3rd. Very pleasant taste. Earthy notes coming through but mild. 2nd third: a bit more sweetness but it comes and goes. Cedar notes and something else coming through. Draw very slightly easing. Wrapper is not damaged anymore because Im being careful. Lots if smoke coming from cherry end . Still mild to medium. 3rd third. Becoming more full bo

I would say light to medium, not bad aroma and taste. mine was a pretty tight draw but that could be down to getting a dodgy one from looking at other reviews. overall not bad just a shame their wasnt much to it. 3.5 / 5
