Quorum Shade Grown Short Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 10 May, 2026
I think this is the worst brand cigar I've had absolutely awful taste the construction was bad as the wrapper leaf quickly started to crack and split within 5 minutes the draw was non existent I had to use the perfect draw tool and what I pulled out was shocking 3 thick stems I had to use tweezers to grab them and slowly pull them out then the draw was good but that taste the taste was horrible so I only got a total of 10 minutes before putting it were it belongs in the bin. I will not be buying quorum cigars again. There's better quality for less

Not the worst cigar I’ve ever had. Good first dry draw. And to be honest that’s really it. As I’ve said before I don’t really have a pallet yet alls I got from this was ash. I’m unsure if my cut was slightly off but I did have some of the tobacco leaves coming apart which I had to try and burn around it to get it to ash straight.

Quai d Orsay No. 50 Cigar - 1 Single

Classy looking cigar, quite understated, lovely mocha wrapper. Very subtle flavours, slightly peppery on the lips with a sweet, creamy coffee upfront followed by gentle roasted pecan and gentle, aromatic cedar. Overly packed and nearly impossible to draw, needed at least 3 successive and long draws to produce a minimal amount of smoke, fairly uneven burn requiring 2 significant corrections...seems to be getting more regular with Cuban cigars and at Cuban prices it's not really good enough.

Terrible smoke Used my Colibri v cutter and the head wrapper came undone, wouldn’t stay lit and harsh taste. Gave up half way through and binned it

Overall I would say this was an acceptable cigar, especially given the price. It started out with a little spice and even the odd bit of sweetness. Unfortunately, as I reached the midway point, rather than develop the taste began to degrade. It wasn't unpleasant but it didn't offer much beyond this point. A slight bit of pepper towards the end. A long and pleasant smoke for the money.

No issues with the burn but it just tastes like an ash tray. I chose this as an after dinner cigar because of the Maduro wrapper. The flavour developed and became slightly peppery towards the end but there is not much to enjoy here. I've had way better budget cigars for a similar cost. Not a fan.
