Neos Country Wilde Cigarillos - Tin of 20 (20 cigars)

Well, had this one for the 1st time today in the nice UK sun. Presentation is a bit on the rough side, think as I read somewhere it's kind of going for the cowboy vibe. The dry draw was sweetish and easy. First third was basically what I would call a watered down instant coffee, it leaves nothing much on the pallette and fades quickly, imagine a nice cheap red wine with no body or note after a sip. Second third is where it comes alive more, more body and get some spice and more fruity flavour. Retrohaling really made a difference, a HUGE difference is fact! There's more here to it but it just doesn't quite present itself. Last third it finally felt like I was on to something, more robust and earthy, spice comes on more . Over all, sure , machine rolled and for the price I guess it's 'passable' in this category. But my maxim is, much like coffee, life is too short to smoke 'ok-ish' cigars :) If it wasn't for that disappointment of a first third, I may have felt different. And really the retrohale... If that flavour could shine throu

NUB Cameroon 358 Cigar - 1 Single

Fairly tight draw and smoke was a touch on the thin side but it was beautifully cool, smoke volume and density increased substantially at the halfway point. Initially quite peppery with substantial cedar, shifts to slightly sweet and creamy coffee but retains the peppery core. Medium to full bodied but strength is fairly low if smoked nice and slow. Ash retention is phenomenal, I tapped it at the band, no sign of it dropping, but I got paranoid about it dropping on me, revealed a perfect cone. Burn was perfect, completely even to the end, no need to touch up. Seriously impressed by this.

Neos Country Wilde Cigars - 1 Single

I bought this when it was on offer and at the offer price of ?2.89, for a single cigar I think this is great value. No particular 'flavour' other than medium strength tobacco, a consistent burn and draw albeit with a somewhat 'rustic' wrapper. Would I pay full price? Not convinced - can get a Romeo Y Julieta purito for similar cost and flavour wise they are more complex but I would be very happy to smoke one of these again. A great beginner cigar. Smoked in c30 mins with a coffee.

First time trying one of these and it definitely was not a disappointment. I did not time it but it must have been at least 45 minutes. Smooth and creamy - like a malolactic wine - with hints of coffee and earthiness. It took a bit of lighting but I put that entirely down to my slightly lacklustre lighter; the thicker ring-gauge warrants a strong flame. Very happy to buy more of these.

A quick 5 minuter but a very pleasing aroma. One went very hot but just the one.
