JANUARY SALE - Hiram & Solomon Master Mason Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 01 March, 2021
Very interesting pre draw, spicy and slightly sweet leather. Light smoke with a strong flavour of leather and a cedar finish. Somewhat wonky burn but no severe canoeing. First half is a little average but the second half builds the flavour up to the last third being very tasty indeed. Paired with Oban 14 (rather sweet slightly spicy whisky) it goes down very nicely. Heres hoping the rest of the range makes its way to the UK soon.

JANUARY SALE - Partagas Capitols Linea Retro Cigar - Tin of 5
Date Added: Sunday 28 February, 2021
Wow, what a cigar! A classic partagas, heavy long black ash, strong taste and aroma and an ideal size for a hot summers day or a somber evening. Beautiful construction as you would expect with Partagas and lasted for just under an hour. Not to mention how fun it is to open the tin by pushing the partagas logo!

Juliany Blue Label Coronita Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 27 February, 2021
It lights well it did burn uneven. Not drastically but towards the nub it was a bit of an issue. I had a good stack of ash up too halfway. Very peppery easy draw. Not as sweet as expected but quite smooth mid stick. Mellows off with the pepper notes and moves into a sweeter ending. The draw is very easy as the cigar is not at all tightly wrapped. Lasted thirty five minutes. I would say it’s more of a strong smoke than a medium. It did last longer than expected. The draw got hot early on as the tobacco is not tight. It was very hot at the end. It didn’t detriment the taste. The smoke was very thick and white. The band came off very early on, as its a short stick with a large band. Overall good for the price. I am by no means an aficionado.

J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Cigar - Blue - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 25 February, 2021
I was a bit dubious at first when I got this cigar seeing that the Brand J.Cortes produce millions of cigars each year so it made me wonder weather the quality would be there. Was a nice light cigar which would be non offensive to newcomers. And the construction of the cigar was faultless. Burned evenly from start to finish and even down to the end of the cigar didn’t become too hot or bitter on the mouth. Some lovely flavours of coffee and dark chocolate with plenty of woody notes and a slight menthol flavour towards the end, the ash also held very well. Highly recommend people to give it a go for a lighter smoke.

Love this one, really good draw with an even mix between sweet and peppery - yet not overwhelmingly peppery. Deffo in my top 5.

Jose L Piedra Cazadores Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 22 February, 2021
Lit and burned very well, I think one or two slight touch ups. Nice easy draw. 1/3 a little bland but picked up 2/3. 3/3 some nice strong flavour with a little spice. No harshness at all even on retrohale. The band took a little bit of the (very thin) wrapper with it, but wasnt a huge problem. A good cigar for the money, nice length/guage and was well over an hour of smoking for me. (probably over 1.5 hours but didnt time it) Might be better after a bit of aging? Gonna buy a box of 5 and put 4 away for a while in a tuppador to see how they do. 3.7/5
