Jose L Piedra Petit Cazadores Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 10 August, 2021
Upon arrival, the cigar was very spongy and seemed to be over humidified. It burned a bit unevenly and needed a few relights. I was unimpressed with the flavour profile and the taste did not develop significantly. The last third, which is my favourite part of a cigar, failed to deliver. Retrohaling left a scratchy feeling at the back of my throat. I did not begin with any expectations, but overall I was left unsatisfied. I did not think it was a very good cigar so I wont be visiting this brand again.

What a brilliant cigar this is. Loads of coffee and dark bitter chocolate, creamy smoke everywhere. Real hit visually and flavor. Thoroughly enjoyable smoke.

JANUARY SALE - Hiram & Solomon Master Mason Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 06 August, 2021
How close to perfect can you get? The Toro needs a whole evening or a long afternoon but these guys will take you from getting ready, a happy while, a walk with Dogface and then a lovely time settling down once you get back. Im not good on flavour notes like other more experienced smokers but I know what I like and these are IT ! Creamy and subtly strong, no issues at all so far, and Ive gotten used to issues (Cuban??? That need a bit of pampering humidor wise/dry boxing, ziplocks or even a PerfecDraw) If I cant afford one in my order Ill wait until I can, theyre that good, if Im wrong shoot me :) Only the 2nd 5 star Ive ever given.

JANUARY SALE - Hiram & Solomon Fellow Craft Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 06 August, 2021
One of my top favourites ! Mind dont waste one if you havent the time to finish her, shes a good looong smoke but every minute is wonderful. I tend to grab one of these to two of the Robusto versions, a Toro, like these, really deserves a whole afternoon or night, or a bit of both ! Wonderful on the lip (I dont do flavours Im not that good at it like more experienced smokers ) but I know what I like, thats why every order includes at least one of these (NOT cheap but my Humidor demands one to be longed and looked at :) Ive long gone off Cubans, like so many others due to plugs but might try again as last order included a PerfecDraw so may try again, these on the other hand have never let me down (knock on wood!). My only taste suggestion I can offer is theyre creamy and subtly strong in their own way, a treat and a pleasure, my 1st ever 5 stars !

Joya de Nicaragua Silver Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 06 August, 2021
This rested unintentionally in my humidor for 6 months and when I lit her she was a sweet, mellow and beautiful smoke. Chocolatey on the lips with the faintest hint of spice and rich velvety smoke. She held her light perfectly and her drawer was cool and even.

Jose L Piedra Cazadores Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Thursday 05 August, 2021
Luck of the draw (pun intended) Smoked a bundle of 25 now and when they are good they are really, really good.......But damn there are so many that are just unsmokable or have major burn or draw issues. Id say at least 1/3 of the 25 bundle I have had were terrible/unsmokable, 1/3 were great, 1/3 were sort of OK. Main issue is super tight draw and zero smoke output. Never managed to free one up with a draw tool either (perfecDraw) I think they are just sometimes so over packed. Never had one that was loose. Ok at the cheap prices from abroad, not OK at £10 a stick here in the UK. Would go for a smaller better quality stick from Punch etc for a few quid more if buying from the UK. Ive had better luck with the petit cazadores, but only smoked a handful of them so far.
