JANUARY SALE - Casa Magna Colorado by Quesada Torito Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line)
Date Added: Friday 18 February, 2022
I usually go for the lighter bodied cigars, but I thought Id give this one a go. I was surprised at how kind this cigar was; I was expecting a tighter draw as the cigar was pretty packed, especially for a 60 ring gauge, however it seems as though the construction was perfect. I had no issues with the draw at all, which is one of the most important things to me in a cigar experience. Throughout the first third I wasnt quite sure what to expect, and as I smoked I noticed an ever so slight bitterness, which thankfully didnt last long. it was followed by notes of white pepper and coffee, and then carried through to a dominant oakiness with a touch of fruity sweetness on the aftertaste through the last two thirds. I think that for a brand Id never tried before, I definitely wouldnt say no to one of these in future. Going in my favourites.

Bit of a mixed review. Im going to try this one again in the future because all of these good reviews cannot be wrong. However, my experience was lackluster. The flavours were decent, well presented cigar. The construction and draw were not as good though. I rested it in the humidor for a couple of months and the burn was uneven and the draw was extremely loose. Im going to put this down to me just getting a dud.

JANUARY SALE - Alec Bradley Project 40 Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 21 January, 2022
Superb looking cigar, I mainly smoke Cuban and have only in the last year or so really started to experiment with New World cigars. These for me are one of the closest Ive found to a Cuban flavor profile, the burn is even with a perfect white ash woody cinnamon mild start and the flavor starts to build from there, but always remaining smooth, it stays on the medium strength for second third with coffee and a hint of leather at the finish, this is the 9th stick out of a 2020 box and their only getting better with age! each one has had a medium draw that is very satisfying and they have all smoked perfectly. I would normally only smoke just over two thirds on most cigars, but I do find it hard to put these down!

Juliany Blue Label Coronita Cigar - 1 Single

A little too strong for me personally, its down as being medium but to me its much fuller in flavour and strength. That being said it burns very well and evenly throughout the smoke, its quite loose in construction which I dont mind and it has a good draw. Lasted a good 30 minutes. Well worth the price its selling for, I received it in a mixed flash sale which are fantastic for trying new and exciting smokes. Thanks again guys

A truly unique flavour, well aged, the best Philippines cigar I have smoked, by a long way. Very enjoyable, pure white ash and smokable to the nub! Very reasonably priced.
