This is my first cigar review, however i feel compelled to write it as the Numero Uno is one of the best cigars i have ever smoked. I bought this cigar as a single. The construction is impeccable, on cutting the cold draw is lovely and loose, nice cedar, salty peanuts on the cold draw with a hint of something sweet like Werthers original!. Upon lighting ribbons of dense white smoke, easy free flowing draw. The first third of the cigar had more cedar woody notes, with a buttery salted hue and that hint again of something sweet. Into the middle third and tastes consistent with a hint of some buttered toast and fresh cut grass. The final third opened up some slight spiciness and a definite white tea note. All the way through the cigar was a pleasurable experience, no re-lighting with a perfect burn all the way through holding over an inch of ash easily. Now to justify a box!!

Strength was OK and flavour wasnÂ’t too bad, but what let down this decidedly average cigar was its construction. The wrapper leaves had started to detach in several places and, probably as a consequence, it tended to burn very unevenly. In terms of taste, it was definitely a cigar of two halves. Build quality aside, the latter stages of the smoke were far more pleasurable because it did seem to develop in flavour as time progressed. However, as the cigar only lasted for around 30 minutes in total the pleasure was negated by its assemblage and the overall mediocrity of it.

Cuban at its best I love the roughness of the wrapper. IÂ’ve smoked Top notch Cubans and for the price IÂ’m coming back to these every time

I bought three of these, my usual Inka Red half corona was (is) out of stock. The second one was perfect, I will get back to the first shortly.
The second cigar burnt perfectly, produced good smoke and ash and might have put these in the frame for my go-to smoke. Even replacing Inka Red! But we havent covered the first Cigar yet.
I appreciate that these are hand rolled so expect a little inconsistancy. However, from the outset the cigar did not draw, needed a real sucked-in cheeks suck to get anything. Then it started to unravel from the lit end. I have not previously see annything like it. I could see the ash from the whole structure from wrapper to filler separating before my eyes.
About a third in I ditched it and lit a Monte no 4.
So three stars so far. If no three smokes Ok I might re-order and revise my rating.

This is the first time iv bought this stick at first look I thought looks a bit rough but once I was half way through I knew it was a bit of class very smooth easy draw and burnt evenly all the way I got between 45 mins to an hour , very impressed I will be buying these again , highly recommended Id give it 5 out of 5

Had a very strong dark chocolate taste l, other than that not a whole lot of flavour. Very easy draw but had an uneven burn. That being sayed for the price it is not a bad cigar for those who like a strong heavy smoke.
