JANUARY SALE - Hiram & Solomon Master Mason Robusto Cigar - 1 Single by simon

After reading previous reviews I thought I would try this one. Sadly the flavour profile is not for me but the thing that made it unsatisfying was the very uneven burn line that needed touching up constantly for the first two thirds. Also it needed constant puffing which made it a hot smoke and very spicy.

Juliany Blue Label Shorty Gordo Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued) by Adam

Smoked via a punch cut. Love this short and fat sized cigars. Nice smelling cigar with a very easy draw. Lots and lots of cedar smelling smoke. Small amount of pepper on the lips. Spicy and earthy taste in the mouth. Had to touch up once due to uneven burn. Will definitely be buying again.

Joya de Nicaragua Antano CT Toro Cigar - 1 Single by simon

Another great cigar by Joya. Very well built and a straight burn line all the way to the nub which took me 80 wonderful minutes too finish. I wish all cigars were made to this standard and I will surely be buying more of these for my humidor.

JANUARY SALE - Oscar Valladares The Oscar Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line) by simon

Sadly I have to give a bad review about this cigar for this specific reason. When I carefully removed the access tobacco leaf from the cigar it also removed 75% of the maduro wrapper along with it leaving behind no wrapper just the filler and binder still tightly wrapped. I still lit the cigar to see if it would smoke but after a few minutes it started to disassemble itself making it impossible to smoke and the few puffs I did get was like fresh air. So I cannot give any flavour notes as this was impossible to do. Hopefully this was just a one off but I do have another in the humidor to try at a latter time. Hopefully it wont have the issue.

Joya de Nicaragua Silver Corona Cigar - 1 Single by simon

What a nice little cigar with tastes of wood, toasted nuts and some spice. Really built well and burned evenly all the way to the nub, no issues. Band came away with ease and it took me around 50 minutes to enjoy it.

JANUARY SALE - Gurkha Ghost Angel Tubed Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single by simon

This cigar is medium in strength with woody and toasted nuts and a little bitter dark chocolate with plenty of smoke per puff. It held the ash well and the burn line was straight as they come. For me it was a 75 minute smoke time (Slow leisurely smoker). Last third close to the nub I picked up a strange flavour of cloves.
