Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones Reserva Robusto 550 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 29 August, 2025
Excellent quality at a very low price! Brilliant construction, smooth draw, the most even burn I’ve seen a cigar for a long time, did not need any touch ups. In terms of the flavour profile, it as expected at this price point. There are some hints of expresso and dark chocolate but ever so faint. At this price point this cigar cannot be judged too harshly.

Juliany Blue Label Shorty Gordo Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)
Date Added: Tuesday 19 August, 2025
I like a Short Gordo - a nice big ring guage without a 2hr smoke time. Sadly, the flavours of this cigar were not to my personal liking. It lasted me a leisurely 1hour, though it suffered throughout with uneven burning, requiring a few touch-ups, but the ash held well. As I removed the band, a portion of the wrapper lifted away with it making the last third a trickier smoke. Not bad, but not great, and not one for me.

Smooth and leathery all the way down with hints of pepper in the final 3rd. Well rolled with no touch ups required. A nice evening smoke for the price. I bought this with the idea of finding a daily smoke. It doesn't quite make the cut for me but I'd recommend it if you are on a budget.

Joya de Nicaragua Cabinetta Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

This is a really excellent cigar! The taste is very good, smooth at first and finishing really well when it gets down to the darker wrapper at the end. I have bought four, smoked three and have just ordered another four. I finished this one in about 45 minutes, sitting in the august sunshine with a negroni. Superb!

Joya de Nicaragua Flor De Nicaragua Toro Cigar - 1 Single

Flawless construction, wrapper is quite veiny but nice looking and oily to touch, nice cold draw with just a touch of resistance using a guillotine cut. Probably the sharpest burn I've seen in a long time, absolutely razor sharp. Ash holds on for 2-3cm revealing a perfect cone, zero relights or corrections needed. Somke is a touch thin but lovely and cool, fairly straightforward flavour with spicy black pepper upfront alongside wood and leather, some subtle sweetness in the background, no strength and light to low medium body. A absolute steal at this price point.

Jose L Piedra Cremas Cigar - 1 Single

Trying this for the first time, draw was tight so had to use a draw tool on it, the flavour is ok but after half way I find I’m relighting it every couple of minutes, may give up on it unfortunately
