Henri Wintermans Tubed Coronas Deluxe Sumatra Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 19 January, 2024
Not a bad cigar at the price. Good construction and draw. . Need to take the time with this one though so that it doesn't over heat and become bitter tasting. Easy and pleasant 40 minutes otherwise. Flavour notes of nuts, and a hint of marzipan (almonds) pretty consistent flavour all the way through so don't expect too much to change like a hand rolled cigar. Pre cut, so great for travelling. These actually got me into Cigars and I revisit them quite often. Always have a couple in my Humidor.

Humidified Cigar Travel Bag (Pouch) with BOOST - Extra Large - 50 cigars plus
Date Added: Sunday 07 January, 2024
Have you ever been browsing for cigars and seen an offer that was too good to miss, or something that you really want that is the last one in stock, then realised that you don't have room in your humidor? Then one of these is your best bet. This will keep one or more boxes fresh for weeks/months until you have room and at an extremely modest outlay. Alternatively you could; A) Spend a lot more money on another humidor; B) Miss out on what you are after; C) Smoke yourself into oblivion whilst trying to make more room. The choice is yours!!

H. Upmann No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 26 December, 2023
Great. Well constructed and consistent throughout, giving an even taste. I really enjoyed this cigar. I am no aficionado and usually smoke a Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos but loved this. I missed the burn at the end which this doesn't have (i might be uncouth but love this) but it was nice from start to finish. Great cigar, bought a second superbowl.

Tastes a bit strange, alot worse than a tobacco cigarette but great for someone trying to quit smoking.

H. Upmann Majestic Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 09 September, 2023
The H Upmann half corona is my favourite cigar, so I was excited to try the Majestic. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Echoing other recent reviews, the draw is incredibly tight. A previous review mentioned like blowing balloons for a birthday party, that’s not an exaggeration. I ended up leaving half the cigar and trying another day. Regarding taste, there wasn’t any particular notes until the final 20%, which was a pleasant nutty taste. The burn time is around 60min, but this is a by product of how tightly rolled the cigar is. I really think there is a quality control/production issue on this line. Old reviews praise it.

H. Upmann No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single

I recently revisited this cigar only because on a recent trip to Italy I managed to get my hands on two boxes. These cigars have been quite hard to find in recent times, probably due to being No. 1 on CA’s Top 25 list 2022. After six weeks rest I smoked one of the cigars Ive just bought box date FEB 2022 against some I’ve been aging for a while box date MAR 2013 (I only have a handful left) unsurprisingly there quite different experiences, however the similarities are strong, up to a point! Both cigars started very well with a sweet almost meaty flavour, strangely the aged cigar had a much more oily feel and appearance to it, with the youthful one a dry appearance in comparison. As with most Cuban cigars, there’s a hint of herbaceous grassiness and mild spice, turning to woodiness in the second third, these are by no means a strong cigar, but there are enough transitions to keep you interested. Both cigars produced voluminous smoke with a very slight blue hue. The veteran cigar did burn better, the youngster did require the odd correction to keep an even burn. It was in t
