Foundation The Tabernacle David Cigar - 1 Single - C.Gars Exclusive
Date Added: Tuesday 04 August, 2026
Id like to give this 4.5 flavours are great pepper on the opening with milk chocolate pepper smoothed out and I got leather and cocoa in the 1st, 2nd third i got dark chocolate cocoa and leather coffee towards the end, Final 3rd espresso earth and leather on the finish, the only thing holding it back was tight draw i had to drill it burn issues required several touch ups and while it held a good ash it was constantly dropping small flakes making it a bit messy i did store this at 65rh but i will probably try 62rh in future to see if it solves tightness and burn issues.

I smoked this as a mystery cigar, so I went in with no expectations. It had a nice draw and produced plenty of smooth smoke throughout. The flavour was well balanced with a few subtle tasting notes, but nothing too overpowering, making it an easy and enjoyable smoke. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise, and I'd happily smoke one again.

Burnt well for the first half before needing a slight touch up, perfect draw , dry smoke texture, flaky ash doesn't hold well, long finish, peppery on the opening which steadily declined throughout the cigar disappearing entirely in the final 3rd replaced by a slight charcoal flavour, woody notes in the first 3rd with a bitter hay, second 3rd earthy with bready finish, final 3rd still bread and earth but no pepper. I'd would have rated a 3 i just really don't like pepper as a flavour note but the cigar was of decently constructed just not to my taste. There are cigars for less that perform just as well and the Oliva Serie G perfecto while being smaller is a much better cigar flavour wise at the same price point. This is a cigar I'd smoke if a friend gave it to me but i wouldn't purchase it over other options at this price point. Rating 2 : Forgettable

This had a perfect draw. On light up I got a blast of black pepper through the retrohale. This quickly turned into a cedar note as the spice mellowed. 10 minutes into it and the taste got a little bitter with nutty notes, like a walnut. The 2nd third had notes of walnut and a black coffee. The burn was nice and even. In the final third the flavours get washed out as the cigar heated up. The flavours were quite bitter. For a budget smoke this is a good choice from a good brand.

Smooth, mellow and easy to smoke. I’m not great at picking out subtle flavours, and this one really just tastes like a good, simple cigar all the way through. Even burn, slightly soft so it goes fairly fast — about 30 minutes. Paired nicely with a whisky. Overall, a relaxed, no‑nonsense smoke I’d recommend.
