Davidoff Grand Cru No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single

Super mild and creamy, with a bit of pepper coming through in the 2nd half for me. Construction and burn was excellent the whole way through. Great for those who prefer a milder smoke

Right off from the start this exquisite classic cigar proved to be value for money. At 6” long with a 38 ring gauge you would be forgiven for thinking this would be a challenge- but the well crafted cigar has a fast, even burn and came in at around 30 mins. I sat in the garden, early afternoon just after lunch on late May bank holiday weekend and paired it with a cool full glass of white zinfandel and the strawberry zest of the wine bounced merrily with the oily, chocolatey and caramel flavours of the cigar. Not convinced? Tell that to yourself next time you and your significant other share chocolate covered strawberries in the bath! A good smoke with noticeable changes in flavour throughout from the first to second thirds. Slightly peppery and spicy on the last third that saw the smoke come to a satisfying end. This cigar is definitely one to save for a special or self indulgent moment in time.

Beautiful cigar , was a shame the tip of wrapper came delivered undone and filler was falling out , but this is the first time anything like this has happened with cgars so not complaining to much . Wonderful burn and ash , and tasted creamy and nutty through out smoke . Burnt almond and hint of leather . Well what can I say it was one of the best cigars I have smoked for the price , my go to is the oliva series g which I don’t hear too many people raving about but would recommend also , but this tops that for my taste .excellent cover for price
