Further to my last review I have to say that a couple of months in the humidor has made a difference, can not say that any flavours are really coming forward but I think a few more months may tell a different tale. Will let you lnow.

Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro Coronet Cigar - 1 Single

Out of the wrapper you get a sweet creamy chocolate smell. Before lighting I could taste dark chocolate on the dry draw. The build quality is top notch, the draw is beautiful and smokes to perfection. The flavour is a sweet cream thats full bodied with a hint of spice through the retro inhale. The Ash is white and holds very well, the build is perfect and has no tight spots all the way to the nub. The only downside is I didnt get more. For 4 quid odd a go I should of purchased a box. A must have for any humidor. 10/10

Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single

Much better than the disappointing artist Petit. A great draw, strong toasted almond notes. For davidoff its well priced but again Id have difficulty justifying this over others.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single

Pleasant enough and well made, but very one dimensional. The taste was just fairly strong Tobacco - there doesnt appear to be much age to them. Theres many more interesting Cigars in this size and price range.

De Olifant Budget Selection Sampler - 3 Cigars
Date Added: Monday 31 July, 2023
My bad I guess for tentative first steps into branching out in cigar buying beyond bottom-end shop bought stuff and the very occasional Romeo y Julieta I have been treated to, or bought myself. So sampler-wise, yes, I went cheapest first. These were a grave disappointment. The two smaller ones were barely held together, burned like paper and fell apart long before the end. The corona was marginally better, but certainly not worth a price premium over even something like a Villiger. Very disappointed. I did purchase some others at a higher price and they were more satisfactory, but honestly, you are best to leave this particular sampler pack well alone.
