Davidoff Primeros Dominican Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 18 October, 2015
Picked up a couple of each variety primeros in Spain on holiday a few weeks ago for a couple of pounds each, tried this one first last night and was very disappointed! The draw was impossibly tight and the only flavour I could get was hot smoke! Now I I'm not completely put off the rest of the stash I have because the smell of the cigar whilst burning was delicious, vanilla, milk chocolate, sweet and nutty and the finish was actually very nice, sweet, long and aromatic. So this leads me to believe that if the draw was any good, it could have been very pleasant indeed. So whilst I'm apprehensive to smoke another one any time soon, I know when I do, providing a decent draw, I will be in for a treat. I will post a review with the results

Drew Estate Acid Atom Maduro Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)
Date Added: Sunday 11 October, 2015
Wow! Infused cigars are not to everyone's tastes but the people at Drew Estate know their stuff. This solid and nicely wrapped robusto has an unfinished foot and a strong pre-light floral pot-pourri aroma with hints of fragrant cardamom and spicy citrus. The sweetened tip is also quite strong and the pre-light draw is full of milky, sugary Earl Grey tea with a little spicy tingle running underneath. On lighting the cigar pumps out tons of aromatic smoke and the sweetened draw is quite overpowering, so have a glass of water handy. Nice even burn with pale, white ash but a little loose and flaky. I'm already an admirer of Drew Estate's cigar blends and I know these won't be to everyone's tastes but overall a very pleasant change from the norm.

Diplomaticos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 20 September, 2015
This is a really enjoyable cigar which reminded me a lot of the HDM Churchill although of different proportions, it gives lots of thick smoke and a beautiful creamy nutty taste on the pallet with a delicate salty finish. Lots of complex flavours, subtle nutmeg comes along for the ride. The draw and burn was perfect with even dark grey ash that held for an inch or so at a time. It was never harsh or bitter and lasted me around an hour and a half. Lovely dark brown oily wrapper that gave off a beautiful aroma from start to finish. As I am getting more experienced I'm noticing the nuances that some of the old hands wax lyrical about, with good storage and un-rushed smoking I think this is definitely one cigar that sits should sit perfectly in everyone's humidor. Great afternoon smoke that I look forward to enjoying again in the future.

Diplomaticos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single

Have to say, what a sublime smoke! These are perfect if you have an hour and a half to kill late morning, early afternoon. The smoke is mild, medium with a creamy nuttiness which intensifies the longer you smoke it but never becomes overpowering. The reason I say it suits to smoke this cigar earlier in the day is because after a large meal at tea time a Monte 2 or psp2 is probably more suitable
