I didnt think there was all that much pepper at all in this. The flavour was great though, very savoury, pairs well with bits of dark chocolate. The flavour actually reminded me of a sour cabbage stew and buttered toast, probably the sour and crispy toast notes.
The only reason this cigar gets a 4/5 is because of the uneven burn, with that said Ill probably have to try a few more as this really suited my palette.

Main outer leaf unravelled and had to relight multiple times; it also canoed down one side. I just wanted to look like Che Guevara but I ended up looking like a prick.

Have to agree with the comments about the quality . What I have discovered is better quality when they are bought as singles, also used a small fine screwdriver and punch slightly deeper than conventional punch and dont cut. As stated tightly wrapped, produced a very smooth mild smoke, holds ash well and lots of smoke with pleasant taste and aroma. Despite using this attic had to retouch once.

Wasnt sure what to expect from this cigar. Ive had two now and both times they can be described as peppery and spicy. Ive seen other reviews that have mentioned them as being slightly sweet. I didnt notice any sweet notes like the original black market.
Construction wise like all Alec Bradley cigars was perfect.
If this had a different name Id probably like it more. But as its called black market its natural to compare it to the original of which I prefer over this.

I have delayed trying one of these due the reports of a very tight draw, but finding myself in the London store with a lovely expert offering to personally choose one to my requirements how could I possibly say no?
I am very glad that I finally decided to try one. The creamy inhale with undertones of spice and slight pepper on the lips by the second third was delightful (I found the first third a little mild and one dimensional, but extremely smooth nonetheless). The strength and flavour definitely took time to arrive, but once there was very balanced , wonderfully smooth and extremely enjoyable. The draw wasn’t an issue. The construction was exemplary, as was the condition. Paired with a light spiced rum this was a real treat. My thanks for the exceptional customer service.

Ok i agree with all comments ... Yes great flavour but is it me or are they so hard to keep a light? i have had 4 boxes now and only really enjoyed about 5 cigars as they dont like being lit and i end up re lighting about 7 or so more times ....Yes i know they are a Budget cigar but please we must be able to smoke them and enjoy that cuban taste? Any chance of an honest review from one of the shop Management .. such a shame for such a shame for what could be a great little go yo cuban!
