Awful. Just plain awful. Lit this up in a room full of half a dozen other smokers, and had to let it go out as it stank to high heaven and was smoking up the place. Relit it a couple of days later and still found it to be nasty (it might as well have been soaked in motor oil), so i binned it. Had to throw away the tube i kept it in too, as no amount of Febreeze and washing would get rid of the disgusting smell it left.
I wanted to try the Petit Cetros i bought before i made any brash review on this one, and found that to be just as bad. If by some freakish misfortune, i happened to end up with two extremely bad examples, i'm not sure. But i don't think i will be trying Jose L PIedra again.

Genuinely one of the most pleasent cigars around. Sweet but not overly so, slight spicy hints and a mild fruity taste (raisin) is constant throughout/ Creamy and smooth and lasts for 40min/1hr. Packed full of flavour and always very well constructed , you will enjoy these.

Did not enjoy this cigar. Very uneven burn and went off TWICE.Wrapper did not match filler burn.

A recent pack of these I had (not from here) were a real disappointment. One wrapper and binder was so badly split and unravelled that the cigar was unsmokeable. The other four in the pack were very solid and plugged at the band or between the band and foot - over-filled I think. One was plugged so badly it was impossible to get it to even light, never mind draw, another two very hard work, and the plugs got worse as the cigar heated up. Even relieving them with a steel skewer did little to help. A pity as the flavour is actually not bad at all. Hopefully these examples were from from an isolated bad batch.

Well I enjoyed this cigar and would recommend it as a box buy it lasted me over an hour so 40 mins seems rather short as one review has it. I cannot say that I found any vanilla flavour at all just good tobacco taste with no bad taste after effect , but then I'm just an ordinary lover of cigars perhaps if I sat on the wall where I have my 'vanilla smelling shrubs' I might then. This is a good all round cigar an money well spent.

Great cigar! Flavours come out more after the first third I found. Also better with coffee than the Rioja I started smoking it with.
