GUANTANAMERA

Guantanamera cigars are a relatively new cigar having been created and released in 2002, this cigar is now one of our most popular budget priced Cuban cigars.

The brand was named after perhaps Cubas' most well known song "Guajira Guantanamera" (Spanish for peasant girl from Guantánamo") by Joseito Fernández which can be heard in just about every bar in Cuba every evening.

The Guantanamera range comprises light strength machine-made cigars using short filler tobacco from the lesser Vuelta Arriba region.

Guantanamera cigars have pre-cut heads, a cigar cutter is not required.

Tasting Notes

Machine made, 100% Cuban tobacco from Vuelta Arriba region. The ultimate Cuban cigar for a beginner or for any cigar smoker who likes a very mild and light bodied cigar.

I think these cigars are the best value for money on the market today. Okay, they may be machine made and lack some of the complex tastes of the more expensive brands but for the price they are excellent. I use these now as my 'everyday' cigar. A nice cigar for someone who is new to cigar smoking or simply prefers a mild smoke that doesn't break the bankbook! From my experience I would definitely recommend these. written by Tom

I managed to get hold of these for £1.50 from a Duty Free trip to Poland and for that price you can't argue. Yes they're too loose, have a slightly bland tatse and tend to burn unevenly, but I'd still recomend them for an everyday/anytime smoke - then enjoy a more expensive, quality smoke for evenings. written by mac
