A quick follow up on my earlier review. They arrived on the dry side however after a couple of days in a ziplock bag with a 69% boveda they have transformed. In fairness to CGars they did offer to replace them but I decided to give them a day or two to settle. So full marks for customer services who responded very quickly to my email and I have added the extra star. If yours arrive a bit dry give them a day or two with a Boveda or similar and they are an excellent smoke.


An enjoyable smoke for the money. Nice easy draw, plenty of smoke, medium strength. Got a good 25-30 mins out of it, an even burn with no need to relight. Definitely a good humidor filler


I’ve had two orders of these. In the first order they arrived in cellophane and were a really nice 45 minutes smoke. Had one after lunch on Christmas Day, smooth , creamy perfect burn , held ash well and was a complete pleasure. Second delivery of 5 more arrived this week along with a couple of others. Was a bit surprised to find them unwrapped not in cellophane. On further examination they felt a bit dry, decided to give one a try and my fears were confirmed when I cut it.Definitely on the dry side, decided to persevere and toasted and lit. What a difference, somewhat harsh albeit a decent draw. In fairness it improved but had wrapper issue with splitting in the second half, also a somewhat uneven burn. So the other 4 are in my humidor and I shall leave them to see how they improve. At this price they are great value however I would suggest they need some time in humidor if they arrive “loose”. The cellophane wrapped ones were a lovely, bit of a disappointment but I’m not going to mark down too hard and will see how they are in a month or two. The problem now is I would look to re order in the future but that decision would be based on cigars arriving in cellophane and sufficiently hydrated. Not sure I would risk ordering again only to receive unwrapped cigars. The 4 stars are based on the first delivery of cellophaned cigars.


Great for a morning smoke while out walking the dog or just in your garden. Its not overly sweet or bitter I found it to be a nice in-between. Burn wise it was fairly good and lasted a decent while for me about 25 to 35 mins. Over all if you like short but fat cigars Id definitely recommend giving this one a try!

