I first came across the drew estste coronets when I bought the liga privada no9s a while back and thought they were fantastic! I immediately wanted to try them all so i thought Id try the selection pack before forking out on the tins. So glad I did! That decision saved me money and heartache. Unlike previous reviews I did not like the flavoured cigars and I would have been so disappointed had i bought a full tin. Same with the sungrown. However I found the t52 and the shade very enjoyable indeed and will buy time of those for sure. The maduro I wasnt overly impressed by but it was ok. Thats just my personal taste though. As an over all product I recommend this selection pack as these cigars are tasty, they produce good smoke, there is something for everybody and are well priced and most importantly you dont have to buy seven £38 ten packs to experience them all. The only other point I would make about the selection is that they are singles not a pack/tin with boveda included. Some of mine were a little dry compared to when I bought these as a tin. My t52 almost cracked when I cut it and needed a bit of care before I could smoke it.

Amazing value for money. Only halfway through these but the flavours are brilliant and punching their weight above what I paid for them. These will never be serious complex smokes but they are very fulfilling. Highly recommended.

Liga Privada T52 Coronet – Very nice. Peppery but not too spicy. Leather and wood – reminds me of Romeo y Julieta No.2 Larutan Dirties – Nice. Sweet yummy chocolate, mild, less of a punch, more of a build-up. Undercrown Sungrown Coronet – Nope, not very enjoyable. Quite bitter and too peppery. Liga Privada No.9 Coronet – As per the T52, but a little more spicy. Nice, but prefer the T52. Undercrown Maduro Coronet – Much nicer than the Sungrown above. Smoother, with leather and spice and a dash of pepper. So far the best of the Undercrowns. Undercrown Shade Coronet – Very nice, but a little too mild for my liking. Better than the Sungrown, but not as nice as the Maduro. Warm and leathery, smooth but could do with a bit more of the pepper. Tabak Especial Oscuro Cafecita – On a par with the Larutan Chocolate Dirty, but I prefer the chocolate to the coffee. Very nice though... Overall opinion? Excellent sampler for those who don’t know Drew. I didn’t have the best opinion of Nicaraguans and always favoured Cubans, but these are very good. All of them were just right on the draw and very well made. Not usually a fan of flavoured, but I could easily be convinced with the Larutan Dirties and the Tabak Especial. Overall fave was probably the T52, closely followed by the No.9. Disappointed by the Sungrown, but that was probably just a matter of taste.

Great value for money and some little treasures amongst this 7 cigar tasting set. Each takes about 20min to smoke, which is handy. Some sweet notes with a good flavour throughout. The dirty chocolate one is very nice!
