Davidoff honours the Year of the Snake with a Masterpiece Humidor. The lid shows a mesmerising artwork that was designed in a powerful collaboration of two artists. Drawn by the Chinese illustrator Feifei Chen and translated into a captivating marquetry by the French artist Marine Léger, the majestic Snake spirals upwards through the waves, steadfastly guarding tobacco leaves.
Mariane's humidor design artfully employs contrasting textures, including stamped and silk velvet, crepe, and tobacco leaves with 24-carat gold, to convey vitality and dynamism while invoking the yin and yang principle of harmony through duality. The inclusion of red moiré from Lyon, produced on a century-old machine, adds a historical touch to this contemporary piece. The intricate assembly necessitated precise craftsmanship, utilizing a magnifying glass and surgeon’s tweezers to deftly handle the delicate inlaying and cutting processes, ensuring that each element harmonizes perfectly in both form and meaning.
The 25 limited edition humidors feature exclusive Davidoff Year of the Snake cigars, crafted by Master Blenders and presented in a striking gran toro format with a distinctive red and yellow band, symbolizing luck in Chinese culture. Each humidor contains 88 cigars elegantly arranged on a tray equipped with gold-plated handles, making it not only a luxurious collection but also a thoughtful gift for those born under the Snake zodiac, embodying the themes of good fortune and prosperity.
Each of the 25 numbered humidors is equipped with 88 gran toro cigars that are not available anywhere else in the world.

The Dominican San Vicente and Mexican Negro San Andres filler tobaccos, known for stimulating the palate’s sour and salty taste receptors, play a crucial role in delivering fresh, citrusy notes without overpowering the senses.
This blend is not only unique in flavour but also in its inventive use of tobacco. It marks only the second occasion Davidoff’s Master Blenders have used Mexican filler tobacco in a cigar and the first time they have incorporated Dominican hybrid seed 98 tobacco from the Martin Garcia region, adding sweet and creamy nuances.
The Ecuadorian wrapper and binder perfectly complement the flavours.
