not a bad cigar, I'm quite fond of the Siglo's and decided to give this one a try. a nice draw, a strong flavour, a bit too strong for a morning cigar, slightly bitter during the first half. the cigar burned uneven most of the way through but that may have been might fault, the length adds more enjoyment to it, especially the final third when all of those rich flavours combine to give you that all important satisfying finish. I will give this a four, I will try one again as the uneven burn may have added to the slight bitterness it had during the first half.

Lasting around 30-40 minutes, smoking this cigar was an enjoyable experience. I would recommend it as a good starting point for people looking to try something from the Cohiba range. There some I prefer more for a little less e.g Punch Coronations, Romeo no 2 - however thats all down to personal taste.

Almost as if I had smoked a different cigar to previous reviewer. Dry and tightly packed - difficult to get a decent draw

Cohiba siglo II has a nicely applied triple cap nice firm pack and a gorgeous foot as for the wrapper it is a lovely milk chocolate, a little toothy and the band is applied perfectly, the aroma is sweet hay and coco once I'd cut the cap off the stick I took a pre light draw the cigar had a beautiful peppery taste with a little spice also a sight ceder and honey mixing in. Once I toasted the cigar the aroma is a nice ceder as for the first enital taste notes there's a mild coffee mixed with ceder note there's also a slight paper taste on the finish and a subtle hint of coco. 27 mins in entering the second third lots of rich smoke out put flavour wise a nice milk chocolate and a creamy notes with that coffee and ceder being pushed back almost unnoticeable now also mixed in a sweet honey on the draw and the finish that of which is a little short as for the ash it's a bit flaky but fell off in a nice solid chunk. 40 min in entering the final third burns a little wonky but there's no need to touch up just yet flavour wise the coco and coffee has now mixed together to make a mocha flavour where as the two note stuck out alone in the pervious thirds there's still a nice cream to that coats the pallet also that pepper spice is coming back. overall I finished the stick at 1hr 5mins it's a shame the burn time wasn't longer as I loved the cream and coco very dessert like notes similar to the siglo I id say this stick is a medium to full and as far as I could tell no strength too it which I love and for the price a lovely smoke.

This was my first time smoking a Siglo 2 an i have to say i am impressed, both with the burn quality and the taste. They have a very easy draw and and a good even burn to them. Taste wise, to start it is rather leathery but towards the middle and end of the cigar the a really nice spice comes through. Considering I am usually quite a fast smoker, i felt the need to keep this cigar going for a while and it ended up lasting me around an hour. I brought a single to see what they were like and have since gone on to buy them in a larger number to keep in the humidor. Overall a fine evening smoke and perfect for after a good meal.
