Bit of a newbie cigar smoker here. This was my first Cohiba cigar ever. I did not know what to expect. At first I was tiny bit disappointed with the lack of character, but having gone through the first inch, the flavours have really picked up. I, probably had it too hot to start with (even though I was taking my time). Once I slowed right down, chocolate flavour hit me. It was absolutely beautiful. Draw improved too. I think this cigar must be enjoyed slowly. Eventually, it took me approx. 1 hour 20minutes... which was 1:20 of sheer pleasure.

I’m down to the last 1.5 inched of my first siglo II. It is an amazing smoke! Light and creamy from the start, it has lovely cedar notes to begin with, with just a hint of honey and vanilla in the second third. A little pepper coming through in the final third makes for a nice finish. The construction was impeccable. A smooth, oily surface without a flaw. It had a slightly spicy smell. I cut it easily with my cutter and was pleased to discover that it had a good draw, not too tight and not too loose. It lit easily with a match and immediately gave off plenty of nice thick smoke. So far, it has burned perfectly and the draw has been perfect (for me). A sweet, spicy aroma hanging in my living room from the smoke only adds to the overall enjoyment. Move over Punch coronations, this is my new favourite mareva! I’m burning my fingers now and I don’t want to put it out! I’m so glad I have more! This was the first Cohiba that I’ve smoked which really lived up to the hype/price tag! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This for me, is one of my top 5 cigars. Full of cedar and creamy leather with a perfect amount of spice. The halfway point and beyond is where these flavours intensify and become even more delightful. About an hour, to an hour fifteen smoking time, so more suited to those quiet moments and relaxation periods we all need. A dream from start to finish. Highly recommend.

This cigar produced a wonderful aroma from the moment it was lit. A really nice draw and an even burn helped to make this an incredibly satisfying smoke. I enjoyed a variety of flavours right the way through and just didn't want this cigar to end. An hour of complete relaxation and enjoyment. I wouldn't hesitate to choose the Siglo II again.

Being new to cigar smoking I decided on the Siglo II for my introduction. I found the first third to be quite mild and very smooth and creamy. The second third the flavour really started to come through with a cedar wood and leather flavour. The third third I found very strong with a pepper and spice flavour that left a lovely aftertaste on the tongue. All in all a very enjoyable smoke that lasted me just over an hour. I will be purchasing some more I think.

Very enjoyable cigar, I can understand why Cohiba is seen as one of the elite. Started out with a strong woody flavour and a subtle sweet aftertaste, like honey or syrup. Burned well and had a firm draw, a little more so than I'm used to perhaps. Moved on froma woody flavour to a slightly leathery aroma as the cigar went on, with the sweet aftertaste becoming more prominent. Burned out toward the end, possibly due to the wind, but I'd been smoking it for an hour by then and had more than had my fill. Really nice smoke.
