Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader Mixture Pipe Tobacco (Loose)

Bought 10g loose and i have to say that the tobacco was so wet it struggled to stay lit, or be lit, once dried out a little the flavour and aroma are excellent. I put the baccy in a jar with a humidity meter, and the readings were around 89% so something has gone sadly wrong in my opinion, maybe the baccy isnt to blame.

Taste is more or less like description. I tried it and didn't think much of it immediately. I went back to it and am glad I did. Talk about tasty. This is not every day smoke but is a lovely break. If it grows on me more it could become every day...

A very good light/medium english blend, mainly bright leaf virginia/turkish ribbon cut, just a touch of latakia, cool burning, zero moisture, excellent smoke, just a bit light for my taste, but that doesnt take away from the quality of this blend at all, an excellent first pipe of the day.
