Alec Bradley Orchant Seleccion Medium Strength Sampler - 3 Cigars
Date Added: Saturday 15 May, 2021
I have mixed feelings about these. I liked the taste and smell but I was made to work for the pleasure. I smoked the small one a week ago at the tail end of a long late night so I only have vague memories of it being mild but pleasant. Three nights ago I smoked the pointy cigar. I got YouTube advice (from mr perdomo) on where to cut a pointed cigar and off I went. Unfortunately it was impossible to get a draw. I didnt know if it was the stick or the cut (it was both). After a few minutes sucking i went with my gut and cut it again closer to the shoulder, kinda defeating the purpose of a pointed end ,surely!. After that however, the draw was much better, it revealed the flavour of the cigar which was very nice and lasted close to 1 1/2 hours, which I was very pleased with. It wasnt all plain sailing though as it was still quite a tight draw and had to be smoked frequently to keep the cherry going. When left a minute, i had to really stoke it to get sufficient smoke from it again. I thought maybe that was down to this particular vitola/guage and was optimistic about the third stick a

Arturo Fuente Rothschild Cigars - 1 Single

I have to say this cigar was not for me. I was looking forward to lighting it after it had sat in my humidor for six months, but from the first draw I just could not get into it. I thought it was quite a bitter smoke and although the ash held extremely well, the burn was uneven all the way and I had to constantly touch the side with a flame to try and make it even. I gave up half way through and walked away. Maybe it was just an unlucky stick that you sometimes get, but I dont think Ill be trying another anytime soon.

This is a really good cigar, perfect draw and burn all the way to the nub. The ash held right up until the half way point. The flavours built as it went starting off with a fresh red pepper on the initial light building into a very pleasant spice and white pepper with dark chocolate on the retro. I will definitely be getting more to add to my humidor and could quite easily become a great daily summer smoke!

When I started smoking cigars the first I had was a Romeo y julietta no2 and i was hooked! This Churchill is by far the best I have I had to date. The draw, construction and flavour are superb. This a superb cigar for a full relaxed experience of at least 1hr. I am a complete novice but considering I’ve had some new world cigars, cohibas etc this is so far my favourite to date, would def buy more!!

Ordered due to being newish to cigars...I am not upto smoking full on Cubans and cannot really afford £20+ per cigar...so ordered this to try as it being mild to medium...Found it to be a fantastic smoke...smooth...slight saltiness on the lips...even burn and kept the Ash very well...all in all a very pleasant smoke...lasted me an hour along with a couple of pints of foreign extra guiness...I will definitely be buying this again...being not able to afford £20+ smokes and usually buying £10 or less cigars , I would recommend this highly...

My hats of to Cgars with this one. Im not sure youll find a better cigar at this price point. Starts off fairly slowly with hints of sweetness and predominantly leather, while smoke output is quite muted. Second third introduces hints of chocolate and freshly cut grass, while the white pepper kicks in. Leather becomes more apparent in the last third while the sweetness drops off. Nice creamy smoke into the second third and carries right until the end. Very good burn, only one minor touch up required, otherwise construction is excellent. Ive smoked worse cigars in the £10 - £15 range so at this price point, whatever deal you made with the Devil, it was worth it. These will become a regular in my future baskets.
