QUORUM

Quorum cigars are all handmade in one of the top cigar making countries, Nicaragua. You will find three different lines from Quorum, whilst they all use the exact same Nicaraguan blend they are each carefully wrapped in different wrappers, showing the massive impact a wrapper can have on a good cigar.

QUORUM CLASSIC

The Classic line uses a Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper leaf to finish off the blend. Ecuador is one of the most desirable places to grow tobacco because of its climate and volcano-nourished soil which creates delicious, top quality leaves. The ash the volcanoes produce falls on the soil and provides nutrients in quantities that simply are not available naturally in most countries and therefore creates a beautifully unique smoking experience.

The Classic's wrapper grows with no covering at all, with direct sun to the tobacco leaves. All this direct sunlight causes the plants to produce a darker and much thicker leaf that tends to compliment richer and spicier flavours.

Tasting Notes

Featuring a sweet and cedary flavour, this smooth cigar produces thick, white smoke usually reserved for cigars twice its price.

In the last third the wrapper stated to unravel ever so slightly. This cigar put a smile on my face and was relaxing and flavoursome. What I tasted was, cedar/wood, sweetness, earthiness and spice on the retro hale as tasting notes. Lovely stick.

Dry, black pepper to start. Earthy dark wood halfway. Dark tobacco with an occasional overdone toast note. 30 mins. Kept it a couple of months in humidor, perhaps 4+ months more may have helped. Reasonable last third. Smoked outside on a cold November afternoon.

had one yesterday in garden was so bad thought id picked the garden hose up by mistake the draw was so bad. perservered with it and it became a little easier. but i was a little light headed to say the least after trying to get any smoke from it. thought id try another today , tried the draw before lighting again very tight. my humidor is at 66% at moment and everything else in it is smoking fine. i lit it and same problem .i got a pipe knife and sqewered the cigar from the cut end relit and it smoked great. i have one left, think i will leave it out of humidor a while before i smoke it but wont be buying again. which is unfortunate because i quite like the flavor and the price is good. nice slightly oily wrapper just the draw lets it down.

For me one of the best cheap cigars. First 1/3 wood/bark bit leather second 1/3 some spices like nutmeg and last 1/3 dark chocolate and cocoa. Never i had that many different tastes in cigar for about 5£. Always have few in my humidor

I was kinda of ok with its woody, sweet coffee taste. Medium a bit boring but pleasant. Till it reach the last 1/3 where it seem to change into more peppery flavour but soon you realise its just a bad harsh tobacco taste. Not worth it even for its price.
