Yes, as other have said this is a delicious cigar. Full, rich and no harshness or bitterness. A proper mouthful of taste and smoke. A proper meat and two veg of a cigar

without doubt my favourite cigar to date tho the SP2 runs it a close 2nd. Superb construction every time.....great draw and burn everytime.....never had to relight or correct.....beautiful powerful flavours that never fail to deliver.....definitely not for the faint hearted. I would doubt there are better robustos on the market....a true king of its vitola

Look, I'm no expert, but these are really good. I only smoke about one cigar a month, usually larger gauge, and Partagas have never let me down. I nearly burnt my fingers on this one, smallest stub I ever left. Perfect draw, perfect burn, perfect taste, perfect! I've just ordered a 10 box.

My favorite cigars of 2013 are as follows, The Partagas Series D No.4 is a superb cigar after a spell in your humidor, the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.1, fruity, woody this cigar has it all, The Romeo Churchill is as iconic as you can get and a fabulous smoke, As for smaller cigars The Cohiba Siglo I is the tops in build quality, taste and aroma, the Rafael Gonzalez Perlas and the Trinidad Reyes both taste very similar and are both excellent small cigars, and the Partagas Minis are a great tasty short smoke, To smoke a cigar is to invoke peace and friendship and good will to all.

The D4 is not a cigar for the faint hearted or the impatient this cigar needs respect and lots of TLC before it can be enjoyed to the full this is a cigar that cannot be really smoked strait out of the box on the day of delivery if you do it may be harsh and bitter it needs at least a month of rest in your humidor before the harshness and bitterness start to fade away and the true flavours of tobacco and spice start to shine through this is a cigar that the longer you leave them the better they become an aged D4 is one of the finest Robusto cigars in the world and a joy to behold.
